I did another one, Dolores is probably my second favourite character so I made this again in about 15 minutes!
Anyway I hope you all enjoy. Also feel free to use any of this in edits, I didn’t include background music again for you all to use it how ever you want!

The way Dolores gos "Hm" at the end of some of her sentences makes me feel Dolore doesn't completely trust her and her gift.

@@ilovecats21 She said she could hear him, which makes me think she knew he was there and kept it a secret. She might even have been interacting with him, as in her Bruno lines, she pulled Mirabel close and made her focus on him, maybe as a diversion.

Why wouldn't she be? She didn't want to marry him in the first place. She was just doing it because it is what everyone expected. That's the whole point of her song. She feels trapped by her family's expectations of her and therefore she has to suppress her desires for them.

She can eavesdrop into convos, control the weather, crops, her own healer, enforcer, and imposter. She has her own working government. She controlled Bruno with prophecies until she didn't like what was being told, so she changed the narrative of her own son and made him the black sheep smdh

I think Dolores' power is the power I least wouldn't want to have. I think it's not a gift but rather, might be something of a burden. If she can hear a pin drop, it would be so stressful and would make one go crazy for hearing almost everything. Like no other time can she have a peaceful mind. Plus, it would be a weird gift to have, since it kind of invades everyone's privacy since she has the power to hear what everyone has to say, even if these are secret information (just like that time when Mirabel and her dad was talking about the vision). Though, if such gift can allow Dolores to also have control like maybe just choose or filter what she wants to hear, like only hear things when someone is in danger and cancel all other sounds she can hear, that might be good. With this thought, I realized if Abuela puts a lot of expectation on everyone (like how Isabela needs to be perfect, well-poised all the time, and Luisa, needs to always help everyone especially with physical work), maybe she also expects Dolores to always see to it to use her hearing power all the time, so if ever Dolores can actually control what she hears, if her Abuela requires her to keep hearing everything going around the community, that would be really sad, and if that were the case, Dolores' would be also having a hard time all her years, might be as worse as what Luisa and Isabela are going through and Bruno too.

She doesn't look like she's bothered by her powers, but yeah I can see your point there.
I have a personal headcanon (and maybe even a theory) that whilst Dolores can here everything, she can also focus on a singular sound and drown out all other noises willingly, so that, at least, she was a reason why she hasn't already been driven crazy.

But it could also be that loud or sudden noises (in quiet areas) can easily take her by surprise, shown when she flinches and covers her ears when the fireworks go off after Antonio gets his gift

I think he is the type of person to be in love with love. It was more the idea of being with Isabella if that makes sense.

Mariano radiates himbo energy. He's probably not the wisest man but he sure knows how to love. Dolores can hear everything, and it could be implied that she listens to Mariano every time. She probably fell in love with him because of how loving and caring he is to his mom.

She mentions that he writes poetry and he says himself "I have so much love to give". I'm pretty sure he just wanted someone to love, as opposed to loving Isabella specifically.
"My cousin Dolores can hear this whole chorus a mile away!" Love her listening and then started to dance to the tune. And her part of "We Don't Talk About Bruno", with her practically whispering her song, and her dancing with Mirabel is great.
Her little "I know..."and the way she makes a little squeak at the end of some of her sentences is so hilarious!

Next time you play the Bruno song, pay attention to the swishes of her dress and other movements during her part. The sounds are slightly amplified because we're in her world at that point.

I haven’t heard anyone else about this, but personally I think she made up the part of “he wants 5 babies”, just to mess with Isabella and freak her out.

I just realized that at 1:43 when she’s yelling she covers her ears. Normally she talks quietly because everything around her is already really loud. Just a fun lil detail I noticed :D

Honestly Dolores is kinda normal, I mean I know she has a power of hearing EVERYTHING but if it was reality it would just be her having really good ears to hear
Yea but it kind of overwhelming considering u can hear everything. Never being able to be surprised and never getting to enjoy fireworks because your ears are bleeding. She can’t control what she hears she just hears. It’s not really that’s helpful unless you need to find someone or listen if anyone needs help. It’s more of a curse than anything. Especially when she was young and just getting used to her gift.

2: What happens when someone dies, do their rooms get replaced or what?
1: Casita probably expands and adds new parts
2: door probably becomes a normal door and normal room, or disappears to make room for another Gift Room

Being beautiful is more than facial features.. I actually think Dolores would be considered physically prettier by Colombians irl, since she have a lighter skin, a button nose and doll like features. Maybe Isabel is only seen as prettier and perfect because she’s graceful, feminine, confident , and her power revolved about surrounding herself with flowers, so people will subconsciously view her more attractive because of her aura. Meanwhile the creators made Dolores doing weird gestures all the time.

I always speak quietly to my friend when talking to her. One time in a class, we had to applaud for each student and I had to cover my ears bc the teacher’s clap was very loud and she told everyone we should snap instead. I always cover my ears at loud noises.
