    Thanks for that "hands on" review KG! I agree with on the Alpinestars, mine fell apart after 1 season. Be safe and enjoy the ride 👍

    I have smaller hands...and finding gloves is a real p.i.t.a. I finally ended up buying a pair of ultra light gloves, then bought a pair of cheap crap gloves.....I took the armour off the cheap ones and put them on the light ones. lol. Now I have perfect fitting, light armoured ones. Ended up costing me about 60 bucks...but worth it.

      So you have unique ( Frankenstein ) gloves!! 😂. Hey man, as long as they work and are comfortable. Not overly expensive either!!

    Biggest rip off.

    I've got a pair of Alpinestars gloves. I love them. They fit super well. I think they were around 120 bucks though. I've got a pair of Icon gloves too. About 60 bucks. They're decent too

      I might have went too cheap with the Alpinestars gloves. I'll do a bit more research next time. Maybe I'll find something I really like that will last.
      Appreciate the comment man!!

    I used alpine gloves to roadrace I loved them and saved my skin a few times. The ones I would buy were over 150 usually. Never had a pear of their street gloves though

      I usually only hear good things about Alpinestars. Maybe a bad glove line from the factory?? Not sure.

    • @KODEGREY

      Heated gloves are next on my list. My Sedici gloves are great and all. But I could use something for those longer rides.

    Good stuff Kode! Man I still wear the Live Fast gloves or a pair of fingerless leather gloves that offer zero protection… but they are comfortable as hell!

      I hear ya man. I know these new Inbike gloves aren't nowhere near as safe as my other ones. But they are so comfortable I can't stop wearing them!

    I found the lower prices A* gloves, especially those with the suede, don't last long. That said, one of my favorite gloves all time, that lasted me years and years, was a pair of A* GP gloves, but they are very expensive.

    • @KODEGREY
      @KODEGREY  ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe this glove line was outsourced and not made as well. Who knows. Usually I hear nothing but good things.

    • @KODEGREY

      I'll be doing a bit more research for next seasons gloves. I'll keep using these new Inbike gloves for now because they are so comfortable. But I think I could use something a bit more sturdy.

    I have Halversons gloves which I was gifted and they are really comfortable and good for all sorts of wheather.
    My alpine summer gloves are my goto gloves but they are thin and they have worn quick! No protection either.
    Alpine are not doing well in the ratings 😂

    • @KODEGREY

      Actually never heard of Halversons. I'll have to look those up.

    So far the gloves I like is the LiveFast that Chase sold me on. However I can say that they don't have winter gloves and that is something I'm going to have to get this year since I haven't been able to ride much this spring/summer. I gotta catch up on my riding so it might be some cold days riding. Nowhere near as cold as up there.

    I have a pair of LS2 mesh/textile gloves I pretty much wear all year. I have beat the hell out of them. I cut the index finger so I can slip my finger tip out for phone and GoPros and it wearing out but other than that 4 years with them. About a $50 glove.

    Very interesting one KG you got some real cheap gloves there and they looked pretty damned good to , not sure about the meshy ones, that would worry me a little using just fabric but hey personal choice right .But those Alpines wow thats bad they are probably made of reconstituted leather which does fall apart but it does allow them to call it leather. Companies use it to cover cheap sofas and the same happens with them as well it's actually painted and that's what first peels off . Good one 👌👍

    • @KODEGREY
      @KODEGREY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just my luck!! I picked the ( fake leather ) gloves!! 🤷.
      I should have known something was up because they were so cheap for an Alpinestars product.
      I'll definitely be looking for something safer than those fabric gloves for sure.
