    Hi. Thank you for the video. I'm curious why no one mentions the EMF risk.

    No documentation? Dr Kelley Ann, there is SO much documentation! IF sauna also strengthens mitochondria and oxygenates cells.

    The study that showed the 66% decrease in alzheimer's and dementia was the study in Finland which used a traditional sauna?

    Dr.? how long were you in the sauna? I don't think you mentioned that. Also, can people at any age use this kind of therapy? (yes, I am much, much older)

    Is the vasodilation from a sauna or hot tub caused indirectly by nitric oxide ?

    What is the difference between Infrared therapy and Red Light Therapy?

    • @DrKellyann
      @DrKellyann  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Rosalie! Great Question! Red light facials or body treatments are offered in salons, spas and wellness centers to beautify the skin, relieve pain, increase immunity and stimulate feelings of positivity. During and after absorption of infrared light therapy, participants notice effects such as pain relief, increased circulation and blood flow, weight loss, detoxification, skin rejuvenation, relaxation, improved sleep and more, but those are just a few of the benefits! :) -Team DKA

    @0:55 no! No alcohol before or during a sauna. That’s potentially very dangerous.

    How would you respond to the following, " However, infrared saunas do produce EMF radiation as a byproduct of heating, and these are potentially damaging to your health"? Thanks.

    • @DrKellyann
      @DrKellyann  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Hi Andria! Every room in your house generates EMF on some level: the power outlets, lighting fixtures, fans, even your car generates EMF’s through the high rotating speed of the wheels! All in all, infrared sauna therapy is entirely safe. There's no danger from EMF exposure due to the very low amounts and type of EMF’s present. Keep getting those health benefits from your infrared sauna sessions :) -Team DKA
