It’s a shame that the weight of life only plays twice in the entire game. That track is an absolute banger musically and emotionally.

consul K fight in chapter 2 and consul P/O fight in chapter 4. nowhere else in the game.

Yep, there were a loooot of great themes that I couldn't include in this top. Actually, when I started the selection process, the first list that I made had more than 50 songs... So yeah, it was a veeery long and hard process. And yes, a lot of epic musical pieces were left out... but that's just how a top-list works. The reason why they are disappointing sometimes is the very same reason why they are interesting!

the weight of life is definitely the most emotional song I've ever heard in a xenoblade game, it gives me chills.
Creating a top 5 list is so difficult, because they are way more great songs in the soundtrack like Night before Homecoming, M's Gambit and Homecoming.
A step away made me cry like a little bitch. Only other time I broke down like this in my life was in the funeral of my Grandpa. Amazing game, even more amazing soundtrack.

The music in this game, this must have been one hell of a job... glad to see my favourite on it - A Step Away
The song Where We Belong, man I can't wit that, so many emotions in that final scene and that speach that Noah says at the end always kills me emotionally speaking (English is no my native language, so sorry if there are some mistakes with my ortography).
A Formidable Enemy does NOT get nearly the love it deserves. Their hair must've been on fire recording because GODDAMN does it go hard the entire way through

Other then replacing formidable enemy with you will know our names- finale( with climax added on the end) I totally agree with all this

It was really hard to do and I know understand the pain of doing such a list, so many songs that I would like to mention, but hey, it's a top 5!
Interesting list! I would say A Life Sent On Union is the best song in the entire game, always makes me teary eyed. After that i would say either The Weight of Life or A Step Away, man the feelings! Oh and let us not forget the Time to Fight remix, by god!

So happy for Monolith Soft with this classic game just getting nominated for GOTY, best score and RPG categories at game awards show. Series is finally getting some widespread recognition it deserves whether it wins or not. Hopefully gives a good boost in sales for series and we get more incredible games in near future ❤

No Vs. Sorrow? Sure would be on my list, but XC3 has so many gems it'd be hard to do a Top 5 myself.
i feel like final battle vs z should be up there cus thats a banger as awell but i dont know where id put it because the others are so good as well
Yep, that song almost made it to the top, but it was not in the final list at the end.

It's a shame the game award for best score and music went to God of War with its recycled soundtrack. This game was robbed
Yep. I love Ragnarök's soundtrack, but to me the vastness, variety, and of course quality of Xenoblade 3's OST is at another level.
Words was never reached and mobius theme ❤ any top without them is just nonsense 🤷
