Literally my experience with this game in a nutshell
I never minded the flutes tbh. Never my favorite instrument, but I always thought this sounded beautiful, even before the game came out.
I found a lot of people hated the flutes of this song, though, which I always found sad.

When Noah and Mio played this at the remembrance stone's and the motes rose from the mementos... that got me good in the feels

I never once thought about skipping the random sending cutscenes, and I never will.
Same, I watch all of them as it usually follows some emotional moment in the game I wasn't ready for lol.
Such a simple composition, yet so powerful. Damn it gets me every time I hear it. Words can't describe what an experience Xenoblade 3 is.

I played through a side quest today, about a Nopon in Colony 4 who lost a friend, and he was trying to learn this melody, so he could send his lost friend... But he couldn't play. In the end, it was so heartwarming to see him playing this melody and finally fuffiling his promisse to his friend... And of course I cried. That's why Xenoblade is so special for me.
Just reading about this made me emotional, I'm sure this side quest will make me cry as much as I have with every important send-off of the game
In my game I had already sent off his friend and there was different dialogue. Basically he never got to send off his friend but was thankful it got done.
When See-Mee-Mee became See-Mee-Off (god that pun is so bad, it's good).
I was not very into side quests in previous games, but these ones feel more... connected. I'm more invested in this horrible, wonderful world and I want to know about even random people in it.

I think it has the best gameplay in the series. I can't judge the story yet because I haven't beaten the game but I am on chapter 7. The music is definitely up there for me with 1 and 2. I will vote for this to win goty because Xenoblade is in my top 3 favorite game series of all time. Monolithsoft never disappoints

My sister and I both own ocarinas and both love Xenoblade games and we might try to duet this with the ocarinas and me playing the higher part since I play wind instruments and she doesn't so this'll be fun even though it's not in piccolo range .)

Yeah, I have an ocarina I got a year or so ago and just play here and there. I've been trying to find the sheet music for this. May may just try to pick it out note by note. I used to be able to do that if I had a piano handy, anyway...and them making the two themes line-up as a duet was just a stroke of genius. I'll have to try and find a partner someday, I suppose.

This...is so beautiful. Having them blend into a duet like this is an absolute stroke of genius. So sad but also calming and hopeful at the same time. And there's a part of it (the rising bit around 1:30) which reminds me of...SOMEthing. I can't think of what, but there's some game or anime or SOMEthing that has a song like that. Like some far-off memory just barely remembered. If I can ever think of what it is...
And now also I need to learn to play flute finally. I did get my hands on one not too long ago by chance, so maybe it's time to try it out in earnest. That, and/or find sheet music so I can play this on piano or ocarina (no that I'm particularly skilled with either...but what I lack in skill for music - which...is more lack of experience than talent, I suppose... - I do make up for in heart, getting lost in music and throwing myself into emotional stuff like this. Definitely need to get those notes...)

Perhaps, Noah is named from Noah's Ark because Mio means waterway in japanese.
Noah's Ark=Origin
Mio= a path to guide the Origin species
What is the difference between Mio & Mizu then?
