Once again… The camera operators shooting this video did a superb job. There is high energy and intensity all through out Welcome to the Jungle. Scene flashing on the beat with interspersed action edits. Precision, Sequence and Raw Imagery all at once on the drop of a dime. Like Guns N Roses video Sweet Child O' Mine, Another Kick Ass Rock video.
I was 12 when this song came out, born an raised in Southern California an EVERYONE EVERYBODY from the CRIPS to the BLOODS to the PUNK even EMOS blasted this song .. beautiful times, PRICELESS 😊
I was 11 when this came out and into hair metal but it was getting too much with the ballads. GnR didn't fit any mold and felt like they were legit dangerous . A good album for me back then meant I didn't have to rewind or fast forward through filler songs on my walkman while riding my skate board. The whole record A and B side is great.
Knowing he was manic depressive, forced to be on medication, coming from a horrible childhood... This just made me cry. I hope he is happy now. Genuinely happy. The truths behind the facades are very sad.
@Dana Michelle Cunningham yea but he's pretty calm and in control now, not like b4, he fixed his feud with slash and everything. I do think he's in a better state of mind
I know. You can't help but feel sorry for him. Even though Axl hasn't necessarily been considered a saint, considered all that had happened to him, he could have turned out a lot worse . Don't get me wrong a rough past doesn't excuse bad behavior but I feel Axl gets overly demonized by the media. Ok he's definitely been notorious for being very obnoxious and immature but he's done several good things such as when he invited a Hispanic waitress and her family to a GNR concert after a customer was racist towards her and I believe he also hired a guy because he was broke
@Dana Michelle Cunningham just because someone has bi-polar depression doesn't mean they are mad ,all you are showing is your true colors and how judgemental you are ,you didn't walk in his shoes so you have no right to judge.
Ahh... but actually the ease of access is not quite the same as having to work, then go all the way into town, to a record shop, buying the vinyl or cassette tape, and finally being rewarded with the awesome experience. An experience that is not so easily accessible. There is an intangible, yet profound quality lost with convenience. Really.
@@TheChurlishBoorSpeaking of which, that reminds me…it sure beats the opposite experience: driving to the store to buy a much anticipated tape, popping it in your Walkman, only to realize after a few songs that you wasted your money. Makes you wanna get a refund on the gas, lol.
Look. When people say that, it's not that they yearn to hear sounds they would literally be hearing when they type "I wish I was born in..." Of course they can hear the sounds today. What they mean is they wish they could experience a world that would create music like this.

They actually do that for the Cincinnati bengals football team. I think it’s only the intro though. This is because bengals fans refer to the Cincinnati bengals stadium as “the jungle” because the bengal wild cats live in a jungle

The Best Intro.....
This song basically describes what L.A. was like back in 87’
thats what its about lol

Welcome to the jungle🤣🤣
At a G N' R concert, Axl explained the title of this song, when he got off the bus when he first arrived in L.A., there was a "skinny old black man", homeless, who said to him, "Welcome to the Jungle boy, you gonna dieeeeee".
Really?
It was actually nyc, slash said it in his book
Slash is the black man sitting on the side of the tv
It was seattle, according to Axl in an interview , not LA or NY
Regardless, we can all agree that these cities are the Jungle.

This song has the greatest opening guitar riff ever in my opinion

HELL YEAH
I was 11 when this came out and into hair metal but it was getting too much with the ballads. GnR didn't fit any mold and felt like they were legit dangerous . A good album for me back then meant I didn't have to rewind or fast forward through filler songs on my walkman while riding my skate board. The whole record A and B side is great.
They knew good music.
Same! I’m also an Aries. Thought I wrote this for a sec.
i was born at a very young age and I totally agree with you!
Let's be honest... this is the most energetic song of all times! Also. the greatest song... and my favourite
When your lil bro enters high school fot the first time
Me: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE!
My high school actually did this for my first day. I was scared but when I heard this blasting over the PA system I knew everything would be OK.
Knowing he was manic depressive, forced to be on medication, coming from a horrible childhood... This just made me cry. I hope he is happy now. Genuinely happy. The truths behind the facades are very sad.
Who, Axxl Rose?
@Dana Michelle Cunningham care to explain?

I was searching for the Jumanji comment!
I was born in the right generation because now we have all these songs easily available to us all
Ahh... but actually the ease of access is not quite the same as having to work, then go all the way into town, to a record shop, buying the vinyl or cassette tape, and finally being rewarded with the awesome experience.
An experience that is not so easily accessible.
There is an intangible, yet profound quality lost with convenience.
Really.
@@TheChurlishBoorthat's a really good point. A different perspective...
Okay that was unexpected
We’re listening to this forever; no need to ask which year.
Totally agree with you
I'm 18 years old and to be honest I never get tired of listening to Guns N' Roses over and over again. I thank my dad for teaching me this band, which was the first one I met ❤️🔥 since I was 5 years old I listened to guns n roses songs with my dad I don't regret having met this band thanks to my beloved father ❤️☺️

This whole song has the energy of being played in a huge football stadium and I adore it for that.
They actually do that for the Cincinnati bengals football team. I think it’s only the intro though. This is because bengals fans refer to the Cincinnati bengals stadium as “the jungle” because the bengal wild cats live in a jungle
