@@TrueGamer22887 In case you want to know where exactly the lines are from, they're the opening lines of the Heike Monogatari (The Tale of the Heike) - one of Japan's most famous stories. To make it super brief, the Heike Monogatari is an epic/historical account featuring the Taira and Minamoto samurai clans in the last years of the Heian period. It covers the final gasps of the powerful (and power hungry) Taira clan, and the successive battles with the imperial family's loyal Minamoto clan who are sent to reclaim the throne via routing the Taira clan insurrectionists. The series of events were passed down through oral tradition before being compiled in 1371. It's a cool nod by Gege which fits with Todo's high IQ and philosophical over-the-top character. Because of course he'd show up to a fight waxing poetic about the impermanence of things, by reciting a literary masterpiece most people don't bother memorizing. What's more badass than that? It's the equivalent of someone pulling up to a fight and spouting: "To be or not to be, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune..." (except, Hamlet's quote means something completely different, but in terms of atmosphere, reciting medieval literature is just that kind of knife's-edge-pretentious-yet-badass feeling Todo's achieving here) Here, Todo is essentially proclaiming to Yuji: "Even the mighty fall...but not us!" But yeah, the Heike Monogatari is one of those fundamental historical stories with iconic scenes that have been wildly influential to Japanese storytelling, and subsequently represented in a lot of media in the 700-ish years since its inception. It's pretty cool!
Keep in mind, Black Flash isn’t just a critical hit. Landing a Black Flash allows the sorcerer or curse to enter a flow state. Now that all three have landed one, they’ve gone beyond their limits. 120% of their potential.

I really appreciate that Todo recognized that Yuuji has been through a lot. He didn't coddle him but he wasn't unnecessarily cruel about it either, he just reminded him that there's still things to fight for.

I just wanna say first and foremost, Mahito's VA DELIVERED. Now, onto the analysis. I think it's very fitting that Mahito was the first Black Flash of S2 and first BF from a cursed spirit. He is both learning and fully embracing his nature. He is comfortable with who he is. He is a very young curse, so his potential and room to grow are nearly limitless. Considering that even after all this, Mahito still feels like his soul has another form of evolution that he's so close to reaching. He causes pain, fear, hatred, despair. He is a true curse. I've always loved that speech he gave Yuji during the beatdown. He's doing what he was born to do. Yuji being in the fight is why he can't just transfigure Yuji and Todo and instantly win the fight(due to Sukuna being inside Yuji and touching their souls together is too big of a risk). But it's also providing Mahito the room to grow and evolve. Yuji, Todo and Mahito have brought out 120% of their potential. And as Mahito said to Yuji in the end, this will be their final chance to curse each other.

Did yall see in the op for this ep, in the second last scene, all the characters in the anime stood in the middle of Shibuya but in this ep, there was no one, and shibuya was destroyed
That heal like ability seemed real strong, if i understand it right they put everything on pause so if you had a crazy injury they could just basically say "i'll deal with that later"
its really strong as a support technique but much like shoko, it leaves the sorcerer with very little fighting presence. hence why nitta was paired up with todo who can 100% keep him safe from harm.
One of the things that makes jjk power system elite is that cursed energy is born from negative emotion. So in this deeply tragic and depressing moment as long as itadori has a strong enough will to keep moving forward he can channel that pain into more energy to keep fighting. It's not some bs power of friendship or finding my ki or Chakra randomly in reserve its literally turning the pain of the loss into strength by not giving up. But instead of just refusing to give up and being obnoxious about it they acknowledge the pain the loss is still there but they chose to move forward carrying that hurt with them and turning it into the power they need to win the fight. That's what makes itadori a great main character. His conflict gives rise to new depths of strength because of how much he cares so deeply.
12:36 Fax Sheera, they put veins everywhere in this show. When Dagon was swallowing bodies, bro had mad throat veins too. I think the author has something he wants to tell us 😂
Yall gotta remember the lesson from when Todo and Yuji fought Hanami. Emotions are a source of power but becoming an extreme would be bad (Thats why Todo slaps him). So even if he got angry he probably would have used his CE terribly. ANd a reminder that Yuji is a 15 yr old boy. He can only take so much
I feel like a lot of the people expecting Yuji to snap and turn up in the face of all this trauma, who are surprised at his shutdown, are forgetting that he's a _literal child._ He's 15. The main characters and the majority of the supporting characters are students, and none of them have trained for this level of crisis.
Pretty late but it's also a much more grounded and realistic response to trauma. Like in real life, trauma fucks you up. You don't get stronger from it in a matter of minutes, or maybe ever.
If I was Yuji... I'd give Todo a big hug and a thank you for being with me through thick n' thin. He is a forreal brother who has stood by Yuji on ten toes.
7:51 What ibuprofen mans ability actually does is basically suspend your body in it's current state. It doesn't just take the pain away, it locks your body in it's current state of injury. He honestly explained that pretty clearly imo. Anyways, since Ieiri can use reverse cursed technique on others, she can regrow an entire body just from your head technically as long as that head is alive. So if Nitta(ibuprofen man) applied his technique to you the second you got beheaded, before your brain shuts off, Ieiri could save you. So he's saying that it's possible that Nobara is still in a state that Ieiri can repair her from and with his technique it won't get worse. So now he can carry Nobara to Ieiri and it would be as if Ieiri was here when Nobara got got and immediately applied reverse cursed technique to her. Remember Gojo had a knife stabbed through his brain by Toji, yet he was still able to survive through reverse cursed technique. As long as your body isn't completely dead, that shit is just so op it can save you. But well, Gojos brain didn't explode out of his skull and Nitta wasn't immediately there when Nobara got downed, so I don't think it's looking good. Just giving you the explanation on why he's saying she has a non zero percent chance of survival.
mahito’s va is so crazy talented like woah and todo was the goat of this ep i love him so bad he had all those hallucinations to get his power up lmao crazy ass ep i loved it animation amazing good as always
Mahito reminds you guys of Tomura Shigaraki because he's supposed to. Gege Akutami and Kohei Horikoshi are friends, and Mahito is Akutami's own creative take on Shigaraki, conceptualized after the two chopped it up and bounced ideas off each other. You can see it in the multiple similarities between the two characters: Visual: Same white hair Character: similar initial immaturity and character arcs of steadily growing to become the most menacing, terrible version of themselves possible; same "I just wanna destroy everything" mentailty. Powerset: Both characters' whole thing is fucking things and/or people up by touching them with their hands.
11:53 I swear that had to be a Kōtotsu reference from Bleach, where Ichigo and crew were running from the sweeper, a nice homage to one of JJK's inspiration.
I remember when this first came out in the manga. Everyone was ready for Yuji to pop off and then the first thing that happens is Yuji getting folded by black flash. Todo really is a life saver.
I think when Sheera mentioned around the 12:20-ish mark of “Why are you still there?”, those people are possibly all of the people who were hit by Gojo’s DE Infinite Void which is why they weren’t moving (I think, not totally sure)
Ngl, Mahito’s excitement in this episode really highlights the fact that he’s basically still a little kid at the end of the day. Albeit one we hate for good reason.
12:18 “Why are you still there?” Pretty sure those are the people that are basically in a vegetive state due to Gojo’s Domain Expansion The curses were able to awaken faster, but is not as simple for normal humans
7:52 He paused her physical state. So she is dead, but like a person who just now flatlined. Someone who can perhaps still be resuscitated. With some jujutsu, some RCT, AND A WHOLE LOT DELULU, Nobara can rise once again.
It is a pity that the narrator at the moment of the Black Flash from Mahito did not quote a phrase from the manga, but at that moment it was said that the Black Flash does not care whether you are evil or good, a cursed spirit or a person, it does not choose whom to bless, anyone can achieve a Black Flash
In the span of like 1hr, Yuuji has suffered: 1. An ass whooping from Choso to which he has survived by pure luck 2. Sukana was out like 10 or so minutes after that and he killed thousands in 15 minutes 3. 5 minutes later, Nanami died 4. 5 minutes after that, Nobora died 5. He had to eat a Black Flash directly after 6. Followed by another malicious ass whooping That's a lot for a 15 year old. Especially since this wasn't over the course of a few hours back back to back trauma. And you gotta give it to Itadori. He pulled himself out of his first mental breakdown after Sukana. He even managed to pull himself out of the second one with Nanami by channeling his grief into hands. The poor boy just couldn't do it the 3rd time without a bit of help. Can't blame him.
dude..... itadori's VA absolutely killed it when he was crying. the last line, "i can't forgive myself anymore" was SO heart breaking. it literally came from the soul itself.
7:49 basically irl there's a certain time limit within which you can revive someone (by restarting their heart), what the guy did was basically stop the clock on that timer, so someone with reverse curse techniques can heal her and then medically resuscitate her, provided she isn't also damaged beyond recovery. They do not know if she is damaged beyond recovery right now, but the move basically bought them time and enabled her to be safely transported to someone who *might* be able to help.

The voice acting for Mahito's va is insane, he can pull all that out despite normally playing such quiet roles like nagi and yuno
THEY MADE THE PANEL THE EXACT SAME IN THE ANIME AND I LOVE THAT PROPS TO MAPPA MAN. But fr tho feel bad for the animators😭
Fuck Mappa but thank the animators for their hard work despite how Mappa treats them for our enjoyment
I don’t think there will ever be reactors better than this on TH-cam for anime
All love for these guys but uzumaki khan is king
Michaelangelo is pretty good and remembers all the details from previous episodes
Episode was so intense Lupa started sweating before it even started 😂😂
That heal like ability seemed real strong, if i understand it right they put everything on pause so if you had a crazy injury they could just basically say "i'll deal with that later"
Fun fact the technique is literally called Pain Killer
its really strong as a support technique but much like shoko, it leaves the sorcerer with very little fighting presence. hence why nitta was paired up with todo who can 100% keep him safe from harm.
Love how they perfectly incorporated that silly cover page into Todo's black flash. It fit right in as well 😂
Love or hate Mahito, but we can't ignore his VA is one of the best.
That transition to Nobara's dead face was just messed up. Them animators are unhinged 😭
You're just thinking Yuji is gonna get the rage power up and then Mahito hits you with the "You thought"!
lol
He sure did
Others: Nobara might be Alive!
Gege: *Here's a pov from Nobara's Eye Socket*
You don’t have to downvote and shit on other animes to just up vote your favorite anime, you know
12:36 Fax Sheera, they put veins everywhere in this show. When Dagon was swallowing bodies, bro had mad throat veins too. I think the author has something he wants to tell us 😂
You should see Demon Slayer veins lol.
Nobunaga Shimazaki truly captures the essence of Mahito. some absolutely amazing voice work and acting from him.
yuji's metal health may be at an all time low but todo's buggie woogii jumping is at an all time high we JUMPING TONIGHT BOIS!!
that tombstone edit at @7:49 is CRAZY 😭😭
You can truly see why jogo made mahito the leader. His potential is stupid insane.
@@common_undead That, too.
If I was Yuji... I'd give Todo a big hug and a thank you for being with me through thick n' thin. He is a forreal brother who has stood by Yuji on ten toes.
The animators drew out 120% of their latent potential for this season bruh
Toji with the brotivational speeches !
Itadori definitely needed that pep talk from best friend
Go beyond!
12:18 Pretty sure they were also caught in Gojo's Unlimited Void. Notice they have that dead, blank stare cuz it rendered them near brain dead?
7:51
What ibuprofen mans ability actually does is basically suspend your body in it's current state.
Seeing that flashback of the gang just goofing around feels like a completely different show at this point
Absolute peak!
I can only imagine how this season would be provided the proper conditions and time!
Man if they pack Todo up next episode, I might have to call it wraps for this show
Same here, he actually is fighting the top spot for my favorite characters luffy 😂
Trust me he doesn't die
[SPOILER ALERT]if you want to know what happens ↓
Todo loses one of his hands
@@vio4727 fuck you you did that on purpose 😭
Todo came to clap some cursed cheeks and after all the pain, I’m here for it all👏🏽
mahito’s va is so crazy talented like woah and todo was the goat of this ep i love him so bad he had all those hallucinations to get his power up lmao crazy ass ep i loved it animation amazing good as always
Mahito reminds you guys of Tomura Shigaraki because he's supposed to. Gege Akutami and Kohei Horikoshi are friends, and Mahito is Akutami's own creative take on Shigaraki, conceptualized after the two chopped it up and bounced ideas off each other. You can see it in the multiple similarities between the two characters:
Visual: Same white hair
Character: similar initial immaturity and character arcs of steadily growing to become the most menacing, terrible version of themselves possible; same "I just wanna destroy everything" mentailty.
Powerset: Both characters' whole thing is fucking things and/or people up by touching them with their hands.
11:53 I swear that had to be a Kōtotsu reference from Bleach, where Ichigo and crew were running from the sweeper, a nice homage to one of JJK's inspiration.
12:18 bcuz they're still affected by Gojo Domain Expansion, thats why they're freezing, you guys remember the place right
I remember when this first came out in the manga. Everyone was ready for Yuji to pop off and then the first thing that happens is Yuji getting folded by black flash. Todo really is a life saver.
They got trolled? I thought the narration made it clear that he was done, mentally and emotionally.
Plottwist: Yuji is his biological _"brother"_
8:03 exactly bro GeGe is the ultimate final form of Sukuna & Mahito, the more you curse the more the menace...
todo really hit us with that one for all 😭😭😭😭
I think when Sheera mentioned around the 12:20-ish mark of “Why are you still there?”, those people are possibly all of the people who were hit by Gojo’s DE Infinite Void which is why they weren’t moving (I think, not totally sure)
Ngl, Mahito’s excitement in this episode really highlights the fact that he’s basically still a little kid at the end of the day. Albeit one we hate for good reason.
Todo had one of the best anime entrances and man was literally just walking 😂
Yo Gojo lying in the cut within Mahito's mouth at 2:00. Whoever you're guys editor is needs a raise.
15:21 post episode clarity is crazy 😂
9:43 Had me dying. More so when I realised Gojo is also *literally* in a box while this happens
The fact Yuji is like 15, also makes this so much harder.
4:50 "I'll make a man out of you"
NAAHHHH😭😭😭
12:57 UNITED STATE OF TODO 🔥
I CANNOT imagine how they’ll introduce the restless gambler himself….going to be so epic
Who?
@@everyspeed-t9b hikari, the other 3rd year mentioned by gojo who got expelled
12:18 “Why are you still there?”
Pretty sure those are the people that are basically in a vegetive state due to Gojo’s Domain Expansion
The curses were able to awaken faster, but is not as simple for normal humans
7:52 He paused her physical state. So she is dead, but like a person who just now flatlined. Someone who can perhaps still be resuscitated. With some jujutsu, some RCT, AND A WHOLE LOT DELULU, Nobara can rise once again.
It is a pity that the narrator at the moment of the Black Flash from Mahito did not quote a phrase from the manga, but at that moment it was said that the Black Flash does not care whether you are evil or good, a cursed spirit or a person, it does not choose whom to bless, anyone can achieve a Black Flash
"The sparks of black... do not choose who to bless."
Todo really pulled up with the plus ultra 1million% black flash
Watching anime and reading manga is always so exhilarating.
tru
manga ass
Roshi and sheera : "She's alive"
Manga readers:🤣🤣🤣
yo who edited this video lol. The fucking gravestone for nobara the "Eeeooh" for the box bit, can't just let us be sad for this one. Well done
not the “all my friends are dead” at 3:11 😂
In the span of like 1hr, Yuuji has suffered:
1. An ass whooping from Choso to which he has survived by pure luck
2. Sukana was out like 10 or so minutes after that and he killed thousands in 15 minutes
3. 5 minutes later, Nanami died
4. 5 minutes after that, Nobora died
5. He had to eat a Black Flash directly after
6. Followed by another malicious ass whooping
That's a lot for a 15 year old.
Mahito went crazy this episode next week gonna bring even more 🔥🔥🔥
I'm you 🗿
13:00 This is beautiful, this OST is so perfect I'm almost crying
Todo hitting the All might will forever remain in my memory
That last shot of all 3 of them after todos black flash was a panel in the manga. Beautifully done
The fact that Todo is throwing bare hands with a mf who could turn him into a shriveled raisin in an instant is wild. He is HIM.
dude..... itadori's VA absolutely killed it when he was crying. the last line, "i can't forgive myself anymore" was SO heart breaking. it literally came from the soul itself.
"you cant just be walking around touching people" - Sheera
7:49 basically irl there's a certain time limit within which you can revive someone (by restarting their heart), what the guy did was basically stop the clock on that timer, so someone with reverse curse techniques can heal her and then medically resuscitate her, provided she isn't also damaged beyond recovery.
They do not know if she is damaged beyond recovery right now, but the move basically bought them time and enabled her to be safely transported to someone who *might* be able to help.
Imagine what these last few episodes would've looked like if they weren't rushed. It's a miracle they look as good as they do
Mechamaru's goodby to Miwa made me cry both time seeing that scene bro, shit hits hard
