Btw, for the kids watching this thinking "eww, crappy graphics" or "why can't you just hold circle and level out the car?", this was peak vehicle physics for a game this old, and the graphics look outdated now, but at the time this was fresh af and probably the funnest stunt track I've played to this day, in ANY game. You had to be there is all I can say.
I'd be surprised if today's kids are even watching this video lol. But yeah, this was peak vehicle fun back then. I do think Rush 2049 is a little better... graphically and the 4 stunt tracks + obstacle course are really fun. But you can't beat Rush 2

They were my favorite as well! If you have time to check it out, try out the version of 2049 for the dreamcast! the graphics are better and smoother since the hardware for the dreamcast was so much better than the 64!
Loved the concept on this map. Glad to see you caught on to the power of the quadra-peg. I remember playing this when I was about 6 or 7 years old and I'd go against my sisters. One would always use the mountain range, the other would use the center stadium ramp, and I'd just hit the quadra-pegs. The pegs are meta for sure.

My highest is like 1800 with no cheat. I use the 4 small colour boxes and jump at a very little angle into the big rocks under the arena. If you time it right the car can go on a crazy spin. The hot road is one of the better one to use. And it is also possible to jump outside of the stadium. just use the big green jump and it can in a few times also be survivable but it is nothing down there :P EDIT: My best in 1 jump i think was 1150 something.

Cheat codes. Super speed and nitro boost are doing it. However it is possible to flip over the edge of this map with just Super speed. If you're looking for the fastest legitimately though, good luck getting it - you'll need all 4 Mountain Dew cans in this track. Even with cheats it took me forever.

We played this as children. This one and ghouls and ghost were my to go games. I just showed my siblings they all laughed. One said OMGooodness 👏 when we thought the graphics were on point with the stripped cars. 😅
On this level I hit the top twist ramp just the right way and clipped the edge of the “garage” which caused the car to spin so fast you could barely see it. Then the car landed rolled to the edge of the level got stuck on its side for a minute and landed. It took a couple of minutes for the game to count up the score then it froze and crashed.
You guys should try the cheats, theyre all activated except one like this: From title screen, go to setup, and press L+R+Z+(all 4 C-buttons) without messing it up a bunch of times until the menu appears. Activating stunts on racetracks requires you to add the A button on top of that hand-straining button combo, I still cant activate the whole menu without pausing lmao
something seems off here, 900 seconds? also the red concave things always make you blow up when you go straight on them (which isnt always) so it doesnt make sense to utilize them.. not to mention the height you got with the 4 square blocks and that concave red thing tells me gravity might be lowered... not entirely sure but... it really does look like it.
The 900 seconds is because it was in practice mode, the only cheats i have done here are super speed, super tires, invincibility, and 'press R for nitros boost'. The car has so much more speed with the nitros boost that on jumps they get so much more height
@@boyo1991 go for it! are you playing on an actual 64 olr using an emulator? I was emulating obviously. It's pretty easy to use the gameshark cheats for this game, it gives you the press R for nitros thing which is super fast!

In the pink U shape quarter pipe, i did jump so high with no turning, nothing was suppose tp come out of this except maybe 12-13 air time. When i did hit the floor, i turned for like a minute. 700 and something in one shot. I did try it again for days... Was a one time deal😒.
doing the cheats on mupen64 has a "press R for nitro boost" cheat, i think its a gameshark code actually. But it will zoom you car to like 250 mph, and if you do that with invincibility it makes it so much more fun! makes races easy too
Do Pick up a copy of the game I mentioned, its got a bunch of secret track section and playgrounds within said tracks along with a battle and stunt mode.
i remember one time when i was a kid i did some trick that literally got me stuck in a perpetual spin that kept going even after the time was up. seemed like the car was never gonna stop so i just reset the game, but i can imagine the score i woulda had if it stopped & i landed that trick. the car was spinning like how yours was around 7:37 - 7:47 but it was on one of the back wheels instead of the front
nice!! thats awesome! If you can launch your car off the map some weird stuff happens. i once had my score maxed out at 2048, but sadly it wasnt on video!
The 4 platforms I use to hit all the time also, but I'd aim where I'd hit two in one hit and iv had a best in 301 and total 1900 i would play this Sunup to sun down, sometimes just free Roam driving

999 accumulated seconds. Which is 16 minutes and 39 seconds.
I remember using the out of bounds trick to get really high scores since you would land any trick when out of bounds
I'd always tap yellow up arrow till I was high above the stars and get massive air time
