Onboard Genk - Super X30

First time testing the Super X30 category. Genk, Belgium, January 2017. It's just too bad that the camera was badly positioned but I decided to post anyway so I can study my line and overtakings. There were X30, OK, Rotax, Shifter drivers practicing at the same time.

how about performance? equal as OK category?

A bit different because of the front brakes. The braking point tends to change. It is also a bit slower.

Are you saying that the Super X30 175cc is slower than the IAME OK 125cc, Really????

That’s interesting, but probably true.
I’m unsure as whether to buy an IAME X30 SUPER 175cc or buy the IAME OK 125cc engine, the fact that you have to push the OK engine to get it started puts me off to be honest.
I’ve seen an X30 Super on a Dyno and it has a lot of torque and picks at around 12000Rpm in terms of power but then it dies very quickly, so it comes out of the corners very fast but probably not much top speed, and I’ve seen an OK engine at my local track and it’s very fast, almost like a KZ, so I’m not sure what to buy, I’ve never seen an X30 Super 175cc at my local track so I don’t know which one to buy, I would be disappointed if I bought the X30 Super and then it’s not faster or at least as fast as the OK IAME engine, any thoughts?

I was thinking, if they use front brakes with the X30 SUPER and they don’t use front Brakes with the OK engine, then “maybe” the X30 SUPER is faster ?
