This is a 2022. The 23' Corolla has a revised gauge cluster, the new Toyota interface system, standard 2.0L engine, and I believe redesigned headlights.
I've looked at quite a few of these Corolla's and every time I'm impressed, even knew a guy who had one and it was very roomy inside for a small car. I currently drive a Accord but it is getting up there in mileage and will definitely look for something more affordable in the next couple of years, it would be nice to have a more economical car. Also, the 2.0L is the standard engine in that corolla for the 169 hp not the 1.8L for the previous engine.
We bought a Corolla le last year and we love it.I wish the center console was bigger so both people could use it and I wish the cup holders were located where the Camry has them.
Nice review but as several others have stated, this is definitely a 2022 Corolla, not a 2023 Corolla. As a result, you were driving the 1.8 liter engine with 139 HP that's no longer offered in the 2023 Corolla. 2023 Corolla comes standard with the 2 liter engine with 169 HP and the CVT with physical first gear for better off the line acceleration. We all make mistakes though so don't beat yourself up. Love you guys!
I believe that’s a 2022 Corolla. The 2023 Corolla’s gauge cluster is different. Additionally the 1.8 L four-cylinder is no longer available in the 2023 it now come standard with the 2.0 liter.
@@CoolGuy-rk7tcdid you purchase it from the Toyota website? Or a dealership? I’m looking into getting them but every dealership around me has them (end price) like 30,000 for basic models
Toyota Corolla is very popular vehicle in South African roads accept for LE which not that popular but it available I don't know why . It is a very good looking sadan.
Head rests in the rear seats deal breaker in that they cannot be removed for better visual space back window when backing up, hence back up camera which I never 100%rely on
I much prefer the Corolla Touring Sports. Such a shame you don’t get it in North America, but if it comes there, hopefully it would be the cure for anti-stationwagonism.
This is a cheaper car so it won't have an insulated panel under the hood. A good amount of cars don't have anything tho. Even my Supra doesnt. But the 4runner does, and many others will
The hood insulator is available as an option with Toyota parts. I believe it around $200. Any Toyota dealer would install for you. Interestingly though, the high end hybrid version DOES come with a hood insulator.
We just recently purchased our 2022 Toyota Corolla and it is really awesome comfortable and extremely good on gas mileage
Congrats! Glad you like it!
My very first Toyota sedan!! Good job bro.

Yea I mistyped in the title, simple mistake that I fixed!

Glad you are enjoying it! Yeah it's a tight interior so not a whole lot of room for all that!

Yea a simple mistake in the title as I filmed this weeks ago and everyone goes crazy lol. But I fixed that.
Good basic ride. You should do a fully loaded 2023 Corollla XSE hatchback, it has so many additional features over the '22 and mid cycle refresh.
Yeah hopefully I can film one at some point!

Very cool that car 👍
I have a 23 le with the convenience package for 22600. And it was made in Japan coming in 4 weeks.
Nice!
Great deal 🎉how do you like it?

Corollas Can Also Be Popular.
They are certainly popular!

What is the size of the engine of Corolla in SA? 1.8 liter or 2 liter?
@@braetonwilson4296 if I am not mistaken it 1.6 up to 2l I am not sure.
I bet!

They really aren't that big.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I mean you shouldn't need anything other than the side mirrors if you know what you are doing.
@@themadnessoflife7274 yeah very true. Camera and mirrors work well. But you’d think the rear headrest could at least fold
1.8 liter doesn't have 169 HP.The 2.0 on the SE and XSE have 169 HP.
Are 2022 toyota corolla LE AWD ?
Not too sure. I thought they were all FWD
does it have apple car play/ android auto
Yes it has both of them
Yeah!
Nice review~ thinking of going to something smaller……in a leased VW Tiguan SE.
Not a bad car to get. However leasing is throwing money in the trash. Can just finance the car and keep all the equity.
I much prefer the Corolla Touring Sports.

Toyota collora le 👍 2023 4
Yeah not a bad option
i like the car but can sumeone tell me y is der a car year model 2022 and its not a push start
That's because this is a base model for the Corolla, higher trim levels will have push button start. That's similar with other brands too.
True, same with the base Subaru Impreza…
Everyone doesn’t want a push button start.. I like that Toyota provides options for everyone..
What is volume the wheels ?
The volume of the wheels? People don't normally measure wheel size in terms of volume
Why is there no lining on the inside of the hood?

where can i find the cigarette lighter?
I don't think this one had it, lots of cars are ditching that.
It is inside the middle console
lmaooo someone gave you the wrong corolla
I filmed this awhile ago and mistyped in the title, I fixed that, not a big deal lol
I CANT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I HATE THOSE COMPUTER TOUCH SCREENS. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING BACK SOME DIALS FOR GEN EXERS AND BOOMERS.
That won’t happen lol, you’ll have to buy an older car with that.
Corollas Can Also Be Easy To Drive.
Very true!
This in not 2023
Yea I mistyped in the title, simple mistake that I fixed!
THIS IS NOT A 2023 COME ON GUYS

That's 2022

Very bland and hideous car. The Mazda 3 and Nissan Sentra look better
Looks attractive to me. Mazda 3 has the horrible cylinder deactivation problems and Nissan Sentra has the unreliable jatco CVT. I choose Corolla.
Yeah that Nissan jatco transmission will last what 50k miles? Lol
Its ok. Very basic tho for anything at this level
People buy Toyotas ONLY for reliability not style or speed LMAO
@@paigedemarest3088 You're wrong. Lots of stylish fast Toyotas.
