Hello, all,
In this video, I want to share with you why July Fourth is a somber day for me personally, and why I choose not to celebrate it. This decision is rooted in my own beliefs and experiences, and while I respect everyone's right to view Independence Day as they see fit, I also exercise my own right to self-determination.
Recently, I received comments suggesting that I'm not a true American for not celebrating July Fourth in a traditional manner. I find this notion absurd. True patriotism, to me, includes respecting freedom of choice-the freedom to celebrate or not, based on personal beliefs and self-determination.I believe in respecting individuals' autonomy and their right to self-determination. It's important to honor each person's choices and decisions, allowing them the freedom to navigate their own paths.
I understand that my perspective may not resonate with everyone, and that's perfectly okay. I respect your right to decide whether to continue engaging with my content or not.
