    I've found the "Devil" is most strongest and convincing when I'm thriving, when I'm successful.. Then it strikes again tempting me to resort back to the low state. This game shall go on for eternity I suppose but at least we have memory to our advantage

      Not me, actually I have found I hate most things, because the cost of them outweighs any perceived pleasure. So anything I once loved or was interested in, I can only see the cost and affect it has in the grander scheme of thing. And what, for my short term benefit? It has pretty much eliminated my ability to feel joy

      @@lennardg3656 painting, environmental cost of materials. Think about supply chains to get those materials, and manufacturers, people working those god awful jobs dealing with toxic chemicals. Aside from that the cost of my personal time, and money to buy materials. In totality is it all worth it just because one enjoys stroking a brush? Especially when it comes to realist art. So you have an entire complex process to recreate a portrait of reality. Why not just observe reality? It's an abstraction of what is real, almost a fetish

    • @PersisP
      @PersisP 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      haha no of course not. you get out of suffering by not chasing pleasure (outside and scattered) and facing pain/illusions. Inside is joy and love (centered and inside). Thats the whole thing, as long as you chase pleassure, its tied to suffering. Almost all older spirituality has that as a base teaching. In tantra Buddism, when they are really detached, they try to make love without that chasing of pleasure but being detached while experiencing a lot of energy and pleassure. Its not so much about avoiding it in the end but often thats a counter movement we need for a while not to get pulled into it and lose ourselves. Never noticed how you are pulled outside yourself, get clumsy, rude, almost animal like when you are close to getting ehat you desire? Just after you attain what you desires, there is a relaxation of your strongly externalised attention and it falls back into who you are at your core. This is the brief moment of relief. Then when you notice this doesnt last, you discard the vice and there is dissapointment and other negative emotions bc you sense it was false. You can even project that onto the object you chased and deem it as bad or disgusting. It didnt give you fulfillment, in the end it makes you feel empty bc it isnt permenent. People who dont pay attention then start the chase again, often bc people who chase pleasure strongly arnt in touch with the joy and love inside them, so they also are unware of the alternative. The more attention is outside of who you are daily, the more you come dependent on things outside yourself and it continues until you decide to look at the void thats fuelling the motivation to constantly chase. You need courage bc now have to turn around from chasing to standing still and tolerating pain. I hope all these people at the same time get to know the joy of being so they get some point of reference and stability in knowing they never lost that. I often write long comments sorry@@GloriousVibe

      @PersisP thanks for the novel, it's all good I love to read 😂. I had a question tho, is the Dark Night of the Soul simply a period of detachment from worldly pleasures and getting in tune with the source of all joy/love, that internal void we keep running from? And once we stop running and just be still, we allow ourselves to bathe in our inner joy?

      Firstly, the Name "Freud" is a jiddish name (Jiddish is also a germanic language). Freud was a jew and his name actually has nothing to do with the german word "Freude".
      Its the same thing with the names "Zuckerberg", "Spielberg", "Rothschild" etc.
      There is one part of the EU Anthem which has so much occultism in it while many dont realize it.
      "Joy, beautiful spark of the gods, daughter of Elysium, we enter your sanctuary drunk with fire, heavenly ones. Your magic binds again What fashion has strictly divided; All people become brothers where your gentle wing resides."

    I'm not sure. In my meditations the red is usually related to violence. Like a warrior, a killer, sadist, or murder or at worst a beast.
    As a cerebral man, perhaps Jung viewed war like and capacity to violence as the devil.
    For mean I sense him as a serpent. His goal was not pain, but to the destruction of the sanity or will or capacity to love... really, to destroy their capacity to trust.

There is, however, a hierarchy of evil in which a lesser evil is seen as a sort of dangerous innocence. Do not eat the apple of good for it is surely poisoned. Instead, know that there is an eye that sees behind the mask. Good is only death and death is but a lie. A don’t believe in death. I only believe some will be trampled ever further.
