      The timing of this for me could not be more perfect. I awaken 2-3 times a night. Recently when I have awakened, I have become aware of how many negative thoughts are vying for real estate in my consciousness. Most of the thoughts trigger deep sadness and disappointment. Now when I am barely awakening, and I sense a negative thought on the edge of my consciousness, I begin repeating a mantra I repeat during my meditation practice. This helps but it takes a lot of discipline. Now I’m working to use the same process to interrupt the procession of negative thoughts that occur throughout the day. I have to admit that I am astonished at how consumed my mind is with negative thought. I really appreciate learning this is a common phenomenon of awakening, and that rather than being regressive, it is a natural outcome of a burgeoning awareness.

      I have shared this experience as I was about to turn 30. I felt down and out, unable to see how I could go on. I took a few moments of self reflection in my research. A transcendence overtook me into vast soul searching. This emotional rebirth changed my life forever. I knew and understood my spirit. Myself. My emotional connection to this harmony after having been numb nearly 2 decades. It made me appreciate the interconnectivity of all life. It was universal. Congrats, to you reaching this greater understanding. I also do hold hope that everyone discovers themselves.

    As a Psychologist, I believe in every word you speak. May I add that in order to free yourself from those inner demons or "triggers", you can begin your journey to freedom. Once every one of those triggers have been acknowledged, intrinsically explored, addressed and neatly packed into long-term memory accompanied by coping skills, freedom from past negative experiences may be achieved.

    This video opened my awareness to the fact that it was the quality of being present that is what has made the most blissfully content moments in my life so special. It wasn’t the people, places, or things. It was being present and that presence itself is what made the people, places, and things so magical and surreal. This video will prove to be instrumental in my journey and I thank you so very much for sharing this exactly the way you have here.

      I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. Breakups are undoubtedly tough, and it's understandable that you're feeling frustrated and unable to stop thinking about her. It takes time to heal, and sometimes, the process can be slower than we'd like. Have you considered reaching out to friends or family for support? Talking about your feelings with someone you trust can be cathartic. Also, maybe try engaging in activities that bring you joy or discovering new hobbies to help shift your focus. It's essential to give yourself the space to grieve and gradually rebuild. This healing that we often emphasize, is never linear, and it's okay to seek professional help if needed. Take care.

    Yes.This is it. I am living in a cabin ( our home needs a new septic & well) ...it has been dificult but because Im so grateful for all of life, I live it like a fun game of how much I can Love. ❤❤❤ I am aware and in love ❤❤❤ , finally little mental noise..enough to allow yet know what thoughts are! You can also transmute negative thoughts to uplofting & inner power

    • @chelseacraft4669
      @chelseacraft4669 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes you can but first you must experience the negative thoughts because if you haven’t even experienced the negative thoughts you haven’t had negative thoughts so there’s nothing to transmute. Consider this… If I didn’t have an argument with my friend, and we didn’t spend two weeks not talking to each other, and being a part, we never would have remembered how much we enjoy being together, and that nothing can keep us apart so that beautiful experience of making up would never have occurred. All of the negativity that I would’ve avoided if I polarized myself to only accept positivity would have voided all of that beautiful experience that I derived from having a fight with my friend and being hurt and angry for two weeks which now I remember only as bittersweet Experiences that I wouldn’t trade the world for. And my friendship is now stronger and more beautiful than ever before… because I just lived life as it is without incessant judging what is positive and what is positive/negative. There is no negative or positive it’s only perspective and perception. Judgementalism polarizes us & limits experiences and outcomes, and therefore it limits life.

    I feel like this is a fantastic video, and in this I felt like I was waiting for the in-between of the two. It didnt come and I'm not disappointed in it. After acceptance of my reactive behaviors from wiring with myself growing up. I became so self aware and constantly working on correctly redirecting my.thought and expectation process. Personally the negativity didn't consume me I guess i became self sabotaging in my lack of positivity in life and others, just overwhelming myself and it was a toxic self destructive life I realized as a adult in charge of my own life in control of myself my feelings and perspective all around me. Anywho ridiculous things continued I did my best with my growth staying positive and logically empathizing with things out of my control like those around me.. like hurt people hurt people. I can't react by hurting more or myself based on what's out on my control. I could only control and redirect myself and be kind regardless.
    But after years i could stop and breath "count my blessings" focus on the little things the journey to changing what i wanted to in my life so on..
    Then that all changed after my son passed away. And my perception and awareness is neither. I'm neither negative or positive. Im grateful for things at times. Life and its entire purpose is nothing like it was. And I love this video everything is so true in it. But i would love to hear someone explain a in-between if they're capable or undstand what I'm talking about.
    Its a mindset i don't thing many people can understand. But i feel like everyone should...minus the pain and greif but the overall outlook on life and focusing and growing and living

      I can't imagine the depth of pain you've experienced, and I truly appreciate your openness in sharing such a personal journey. Your resilience and commitment to redirecting your thoughts, especially after facing such a profound loss, is commendable. It seems like your mindset has evolved into something beyond the typical positive or negative spectrum - a sort of nuanced in-between that comes from a place of acceptance and gratitude amidst life's complexities.
      I think many people might find it challenging to grasp the intricacies of such a mindset, given the unique circumstances you've navigated. Wishing you continued strength on your journey of growth and understanding. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with such authenticity.

    Our mortal lives in the physical dimension/plane are temporary, so to attempt to live consciously in the now and in the present allows us all to enjoy each and every moment for ourselves, rather than in a distracted static state, be it either dwelling on our pasts or simply dreaming of our futures. To live in the present is to live life within the vast richness of just existing! Just being alive is great!

    Indeed right here right now is a wondrous experience. If only I could sustain this awareness more predominantly. My mind is quite a force to be reckoned with that is why I very often resort to escape it through reading to get a break from its tyranny. I find nature to be a powerful force to support being present. I am so grateful for birds, trees, the wind and the sky. People are way too challenging, still I sometimes remember to intentionally shift my perception of them. Seeing them not from an egoic point of view but as an expression of a loving energy, holding this vision in my third eye helps stop the automated mind chat.
    Each time I try to meditate I fall asleep regardless of the time of day.

    What I seek to understand or at least get confirmation from is the observation on why we choose to identify the same thing as ngetaive or positive. Once you just understand it stems from the same vibrational field all of these thoughts are one thing what makes it seem different is the labelling. At the end of the day the thoughts that are labelled negative are the intangible or energetic manifestations which reflect your current enegetic state which in turn help you identify any energetic blockages inorder to heal.

    Delving into the intricate relationship between our thoughts and overall well-being, providing valuable insights on the nature of positivity. It was something I wanted to hear. The idea that positive thoughts act as resilient guides and not seeking constant attention hmmm -- this needs more explanation as such.
    So this, potential dominance of negative thoughts and the comparison to mental viruses which influence not just individuals but entire groups or societies, has got me pondering about the impact of collective thinking on the world around us. Have you ever found yourself caught up in a prevailing thought pattern, perhaps during a challenging time, and noticed how it shaped your perception?
    The discussion on presence as a catalyst for spiritual growth struck a chord. It reminded me of a time when I consciously tried to be present during a nature walk, appreciating the smallest details like the play of light on leaves. It was a simple yet powerful experience that aligned with the idea of presence enhancing our awareness.

    I think one can choose which thoughts or feelings to act upon, but they don't choose their thoughts or feelings. We don't sit and think analytically, "Okay, now it's time to be sad". No, sadness just hits you and the only thing you can do is come up with a word to label the experience and deal with it. When I get a thought, whether positive or negative, it just hits me all of a sudden. Thoughts and emotions feel cathartic. Beyond that requires the ability to think abstractly and devise a context. Nothing makes sense to us without context. For example: "walking barefoot" doesn't have a positive or negative connotation to it until you provide context, e.g. "walking barefoot through a thorn bush" or "walking barefoot on white sand". Walking barefoot through thorns isn't negative when you're a rhinoceros, but when you have soft, fleshy feet...like humans typically do...then the consequence of thorns piercing your skin and creating an open wound becomes a negative thing, because open wounds can invite bacteria and viruses (but not always), and bacteria and viruses cause illness (but not always), and illness causes sickness (but not always), and sickness causes death (but not always), and death is (always) the final stop as far as we are concerned.
    Also, if discomfort is the thing we are trying to avoid by avoiding negative thoughts, then there are lots of things we have to discuss, because life is discomfort. All the time, we are told to step out of our comfort zone if we want to achieve anything in life. Trust me...I enjoy comfort...but from every angle, I am told that discomfort leads to a better quality of life....someday....eventually.

    Abracadabra = As I speak So I create.
    Being aware of being aware is the place beyond thought.
    Now is eternal. Past, present and future are temporal.
    When experience contains awareness there is bondage/reaction.
    When awareness contains experience there is Sovereignty/response.
    Energy follows attention. Attention follows intention. Intention patterns energy. Patterned energy generates function.

    Wonderful information. I've watched many/most of your presentations and learn much from each. Your emphasis on "presence" reminds me of Ram Dass offering "Be Here Now." Your presentation helps that stick. My current wonderment is were does consciousness exist? In the mind? Where does mind exist? In the brain? I personally find that an unsatisfactory answer. Do you have any episodes on that I may have missed? Many thanks for all the guidance you offer.

    Nothing we do with effort will take us out of the mind. No meditation can take us out of the mind because it is for the mind. What can get us out of the mind is love and devotion.

      In my experience rage can do it as well. Any time anyone says this or that is the only way… a red flag goes up somewhere. 😆

    • @immortalsoul8812
      @immortalsoul8812 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Rage is from the root chakra and it's still in the mind. All the chakras are in the mind, not just the 6 chakras in the physical body but 6 chakras in the astral body and 6 chakras in the causal body. We can only conceive of anything within time and space which is of the mind (part of the causal body). Beyond the mind is the Self or the soul so Self-realization, attained by love and devotion, is the first step to get out of the mind and after that God-realization can be attained.

      @@immortalsoul8812irrelevant… even our legal system recognizes the insanity plea due to rage. You can completely lose yourself and wander far outside your own mind in the negative realm just as in the positive realm. Polarization is polarization. Extremism is extremism. What happens in one pole happens in the other. It’s the law of the universe.

    • @immortalsoul8812
      @immortalsoul8812 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're analyzing from the mind. The legal system is within this 3D world which is totally intellectual mind-based. The law of the universe, multi-universes, parallel worlds, multi-dimensions, etc. still lie in the astral realm and doesn't even reach the causal world. "Die-while-living" meditation practice will bring awareness of all this knowledge that I'm referring to, although it still won't get one out of the mind. Pray tell... what is the difference between the mind and the soul?
