    Do you have a video on how to repair a turret that is multiple indexing or is not indexing after the 5 pin

      I don’t at this moment, but it’s on my list of things to do when the opportunity arises. This video though for the Turret Clutch might be able to help with that no index after the 5 pin hopefully

      @@tejanoking82 sound s like the time delay is moving slowly for multiple indexing, or not indexing at all.
      I would pull the TC and rebuild it.
      It’s not that hard.

      Multiple indexing is a trip lever adjustment

      I'll tell you in my personal opinion from experience it's a bad short turret belt but could be diffrent for you since I work on 10 original model As

    Dude you left so many things out of this tutorial first of all once you get your bronze bearing in your friction ring cleaned up put a light coat of oil on them the inside of the bronze ring and the outside of the bronze ring where it contacts the friction pad secondly you need to check the teeth on your time delay gear and the stop pad on the bottom of the time delay gear where your indexing latch stops the time delay gear if that stop pad underneath for the latch is rounded or is not flat then it could cause an issue with your latch not stopping the time delay gear you also have to check the trip pedal bearing on the other side to make sure that it has smooth operation going over the bump in the time delay gear for the trip pedal then on your frame you need to check and make sure that there's no dirt buildup on where the slides go and that they're not gouged up or it won't slide back and forth properly and then last but not least I always put a brand new pulley and a brand new belt on it in order for it not to squeak and drive properly I just got done doing 50 turret clutches in the house that I work at and out of 50 only two of them had a problem afterwards that had nothing to do with my rebuild

    0:46 What's with those Lane numbers on the top ? This is Lane 18 but the number up there is 28 & 4 ?

    • @thepinsettermedic
      @thepinsettermedic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So when the center first opened in the 50’s it was a 16 lane house so 18 was 4. Then in the 70’s I think they expanded the center in both directions to where there was 48 lanes so it turned into 28. Then in 2010ish the current owner took out the first 10 lanes to make room for a billiards and arcade area, so now it’s 18

    I’ve got a bit of a problem, the bolt and nut to remove the clutch are rounded and I cannot get them off, is there anything you would recommend? The previous mechanic must’ve messed them up

    • @thepinsettermedic
      @thepinsettermedic  ปีที่แล้ว

      The bolt I would try vise grips and the nut I would try the next size down wrench and drive it on there. Or maybe an air chisel you either move the nut or split it lol. That’s a tough one to say exactly but hopefully some of these ideas work! Sorry I couldn’t come up with more

    Turret clutch squeal might be the worst sound in the world.

      It’s a glaze that forms from the short turret belt from the pulley.
