Before to star to work the builder has to present the brief to you and have to be an agreement with you and him about construction, timeframe, Colours, materials, etc. because is costing involved for you and the builder. Some clients change their mind in the process and is very hard to work with them. In this case you have to select the grouting before to avoid the issue. Is not fear to accuse the workers, when is not their fault. Congratulations for your new studio is very good.😊
Yes! We made plans, signed contracts with the scope and worked closely with the renovation company (they are in charge of all the workers and are responsible for them if anything goes wrong). It was a lot of overpromising and underdelivering, bad planning and overall mishandling from the contractors I engaged - which is why everything was delayed. We selected all the materials before hand but they had trouble executing the idea so it was a very frustrating journey altogether :'-) We've since reached out to other companies to get things fixed and have moved on!

Neighbors playing loud music are the worst. At least in the UK you can report them and they will get a hefty fine.
my mom brought home 1 planter with snails and they infested our whole garden so be careful with those snails! that little patch of plants there could infest your whole studio plants!! they are slow but they can and will get inside ;;; not to scare you but yeah... our little snail "family" ate all the my moms plants
