ST LUCIA SNORKELING 2022 | SUGAR BEACH | ANSE CHASTANET | PETIT PITON

St Lucia Snorkeling did not disappoint on our most recent adventure, April 2022, we loved Sugar Beach & Anse Chastanet for both the variety of wildlife & coral. The video begins at the top of Petit Piton, which I summited early one morning for the ultimate wake up view!
Brooke & I stayed at an AirBNB in a small fishing village, Soufriere, on the South West of the Island. Soufriere has beautiful views of the Pitons & is located near a lot of the island attractions such as; Diamond Falls, Piton Falls, Sulfur Springs (the only drive in volcano park in the world), Project Chocolat, Sugar Beach Resort, Anse Chastanet Resort, Petit Piton Trail, Gross Piton Trail & more!
Fun fact, Soufriere was actually built inside the giant volcano's caldera (a large volcanic crater, often formed by a major eruption leading to the collapse of the mouth of the volcano). So, when you are staying in Soufriere, you can actually say that you are staying in a Volcano!
Though this video covers only the snorkeling, St Lucia has a plethora of excellent activities and adventures to offer, not to mention it is a tropical paradise. Go there for a visit, the locals depend on travel as a primary income stream and they will be happy to help you have a great time while you are there!
