Scott, you need to get a Kickstarter to get the money and rescue Duke from the greasy hands of Gearbox's CEO, Randy Pitchford. Dude released a half-baked mess of a game just because he wanted to add features and change engines every time a revolutionary game was released. 5 years later, he released a buggy, watered down, poorly handling, bad sounding "remaster" of Duke3D that somehow runs like crap on Nintendo Switch. The final boss of Ep. 5 is a major letdown as well! This whole situation feels like Gearbox is making Duke kick his own ass, and you, his creator, need to save him, bubblegumless or not.
I really wonder what happened to him. He truly had potential as you can see (and hear) here. I hope his doing fine and even working on even bigger projects!

I don't know how old are you now Chris but let me tell you I used to listen this cover a lot when it came out and I was like 14 lol and you inspired me to own a guitar (I bought one that looked exactly like yours) and all the equipment to play rock and I did pretty decent... unfortunately life changes and people as well I dropped the guitar and piano when I started the university and work, I thought I would have time after that but I had to move from my country and I left all of my stuff behind.. my mother told me she would sell my stuff to have some extra money, little did I knew she never did and instead she bought another guitar and amp for me to retake at my return... saddly she is no longer among us and I couldn't return before that, life is a mess and I regret some choices in life, leaving behind music is one of them, but looking this video again after so many years brought me so much memories of a time when I wanted to do music just for fun and let me tell you again I'll look forward to that. DLC is something made after the fact. Shivering Isle from Oblivion is DLC. The end for Mass Effect was locked on the disk. Thus not DLC. Now can you give me an example that you would consider as "on-disk DLC"?

Memories don't need to just be memories, there are still some of playing Duke 3D online Multiplayer! Come get some, the more the merrier. Search Google for "Duke Matcher" and you'll find all you need to play online using a free lobby program called Duke Matcher that connects you to other Dukers.
I'm guessing either TH-cam glitched the audio or there was simply an error made during the production that was missed before it was uploaded, but notes are clearly missing. I downloaded the MP3 of this back when it first came out and the notes aren't missing on the MP3. So the missing notes aren't an artistic change to the song. Overall this is one of the best versions of the Duke Nukem theme to date. It's just too bad we don't have anyone with the balls to make a game worth buying. Duke3D is still the best version ever made and it seems like they've always been trying to recreate the magic of that game, but they always fall short. DNF is an example of what not to do. They made that game so cheesy I forgot I was an action hero saving the world because I was cringing at every corner. I'm just really disappointed that such an awesome game has been dragged through the mud and left for dead.

Prey was great but complications with that have pushed it into the BG and HH is doing Prey 2 which is great. 3DR needs to have another grade A title out by Holiday 2012 or they will forever be remembered as that studio who wasted their time on DNF.

@BedBu84 well, graphics maybe not be from a 2011 game but at least it didn't sucked like a game of 2007 like max payne, i never had a single error or bug during the two times i played the SP, well someparts of the game were just weird, but didn't meant it was a crappy gameplay, for me it was great, anywayy xD
