Cool I love this
When I get an alert, the voice continues on to give me more weather info other than the alert. Is there a way to turn this off? I know it stops eventually, but I just want the alert, nature of the alert and then for it to stop.
Did you try pressing the snooze button on the top of the radio? It should turn the alert off.

Midland discontinued the WR-300 several years ago. It was replaced with the WR400, which is available here. www.buytwowayradios.com/midland-wr400.html
This is not helpful.
This is just too fast to completely understand anything that she is saying to complete setup ??
Press menu button, then down button until you get the feature you want, press select and then the up/down to choose the right one. She's fast.
I don’t have the WR300. Though I have the WR400. My next radio will be an Undien Bearcat WX100.
