How do you not have interference issues? I just had two of them in my room, and when one would turn on, the other would have a signal blackout or be RF jammed.

I can't imagine what it sounds like in the room when you go under a warning and they all go off.
They go off like crazy
I miss my Radioshack 12-521 because all of the buttons stopped working, so I had no choice, but to simply take it apart and throw it away and I also have the 12-093 and it works, but the antenna broke off.
I got Child Abduction, Required Weekly Test, 911 Telephone Outage, Severe Thunderstorm Watch, Severe Thunderstorm Warning, and Special Marine Warning. My Special Marine Warning didn't went off in a mistake on my WR-300. (KXI 41 Crystal Lake IL.)
The WR-100 number 3 is exactly what happened to my first WR-100 a couple weeks ago.

A weather radio under water. That's cool that it stayed in first rate shape. We got one in Ohio, and we STILL have it, however, we don't have much severe weather. So. We DID have a Severe T-Storm Warning (however, we still have a weather radio, so. Thx.

I got the Midlands WR-300, WR-120 EZ, HH54VP, RadioShack 12-522, and the Maxx Digital Weather Radio. Anyways, I got a Required Weekly Test today.

the weather radio is more accurite because it has a dirrect connection to the national weather service but you can still rely on your phone
Phones need WiFi, and can shut down when the signal towers get damaged or destroyed from adverse weather conditions. Weather Radios can stay up with battery during emergencies, and most of the VHF weather radio transmitters are in really strong and protected transmission towers (My local one, WNG706, transmits from my local station's digital transmitter(It's WRAL if you're wondering.)

You have an insane amount of weather alert radios! I'm surprised I can't hear those alerts from my home in Rutherford! Anyway, I'm looking to get a weather alert radio. I have an old Maxon WR-70, which hasn't alerted since the before NOAA instituted the S.A.M.E. I can still listen to NOAA on it. So I am in the market of a new weather alert radio. Since you have pretty much every weather alert radio ever made, what would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
I recommend the Midland WR-120 or Midland WR-400.
I had a WR-100 for YEARS but it finally broke and I took it apart and apparently
failed in it. I now have a Acurite 8551w

Has anyone noticed that the RadioShack 12-262 and the Reecom R-1630/1650 have the same warning tones? I did.
they do not, they sound similar, but claiming that they have the “same warning tones” would’ve been a overstatement

7:13 you should contact NWS Upton and Mt. Holly Skywarn and see if you can find the Skywarn frequency for your area. You can listen to those on that scanner. Might help you during severe wx season :D
