This guy used to annoy me, but after watching a ton of Nardwuar compilations I've come to realize how important he is to the psychology of celebrities. I imagine it is easy to forget who you are and where you came from when overwhelmed by the fast pace life of being a rising star. Nardwuar helps keep them grounded, at least for a moment.
Plus, he also helps them have a laugh, relax and smile. Something which can be really hard to do at times. Nardwuar can just come in, tell them something, and they laugh because he's a real sweet guy.

I think it's more like he's reaching out to their friends and family and somehow getting this information and they're taken back by how in tf he did it. Imagine being related to a celebrity and some interviewer you probably don't know starts asking for personal details. How DOES he do it? Is it because he's asking genuine questions so those people actually talk to him? Cause you know by now they've probably been annoyed to death by some other Momo from the media. Nard has a very simple platform and for that reason it's extremely perplexing since we only know what he wants us to.
