The TIG welds on the aluminium parts are outstanding, that's a welder with talent, attention to detail, pride and a strive for perfection 👍👍 And now that i saw this not sure if I'll ever sell my Skyline GT
lotta ppl gripe about R33s that really wont touch these cars as it is r32-r34 or upscale a gts etc....YET its a full resto cant complain about the passion and work put in at all. As if being inside the cockpit means you can see how it looks anyways its all about the fit feel and content the owners/builders have with their finished product
I wish more people would integrate those wide body kits instead of leaving the bolts exposed. It's kinda old now and honestly looks like they took a lazy approach instead of doing it clean and right. Just my take. It's beautiful no doubt but could look better. Sounds amazing! .
In the good old days, Roads Untraveled always alternated the releases of Skylines with Toyota Supra A80) Therefore, Marcus, we are waiting for you to release about Toyota Supra) We are waiting very much)
hahah maybe in the spring with Jared Galmut's car. No A80s on my radar other than that one at the moment. Recently drove an A90 time attack Supra though
no it isnt. the pull clutch was changed to push half way through the 32. the gearbox definitley doesnt hold the same power as a gtr getrag. and how is a neo better than a 26? i own both.
@@Rekoyl116 this car is a rwd, so what I said about the gearbox is true, you're talking gtr box, which this isn't, neo has a better combustion chamber and vct
Yeah true, can't confirm but I've heard the r34 box synchros were upgraded. Could have contributed to the 33 boxes i've heard that didn't end well. Or there was just too much torque overall and the 34 box wouldn't have liked it either.
Yeah dumb mistake, I misspoke. Was thinking RB25 S2 vs. NEO for the lifters, one of many benefits of the swap. How much power are you making? I try and ask every RB owner I come across if they're running VCT on their built NEO and most still are in my experience, at least around 500whp or less.
@RoadsUntraveled it's all good lol I'm at 550whp and 410tq about 22 to 24 psi. Still on the safe side bcz of the stock r33 gtst trans. My plan is cd00a and turn it up a bit more. Full build on ethanol
False information. The 5 speed in the 33 GTST and 33 GTT are nearly the same. Here in AUS where skylines are prevalent, there's no "33 boxes won't hold up" stigma. The main difference is push vs pull type clutch setup and updated syncros, since this car comes with it there's no need to change to a 34 one for 0 benefit. Only time you'd get a strength increase in skyline boxes would be going to a 6 speed GTR box.
@@RoadsUntraveled That and the push vs pull clutch. No difference in power capability. To add to this, if the 33 box has been rebuilt, it would have the updated syncro set. What a good build you've showcased though!
@@RoadsUntraveledi think it's because it never got the movie shine of the 34 nor the race wins or the 32 even though funny enough, it has way more race wins than the 34.
Gawdauym, Coleton pretty much has a brand new R33 after fully restoring it. This is a pretty wicked build!
Love to see a clean R33!😮💨👌🏽
Definitely my favorite of the Skylines/GTRs
Right! love my R33, I sold my R34 and kept the R33 because I love it so much. Its underappreciated thats for sure with how much hype the R34 gets

As a R33 gtr owner myself, i absolutely love seeing more 33s! It's my fave of the trio of gtrs and this is a cool gtst build and the rb sounds so dope
Excellent Video Marcus! It's hard to capture all the features and details, but you did a great job!
Thanks. If I'm ever in Calgary I'd love to chat more about it in person! I'm sure the people would appreciate diving deep and nerding out.
I love your videos so much man I been watching you for years you make some of the best car videos the cinematics are A1
We have our moments. Thanks for sticking around.
I appreciate the hard work you put in to your build makes it looks nice 👍🏼 and sounds good

They might be the smoothest cross promotion I've ever heard in a car video 😂
Good job!! I really enjoy your videos, even the advertising 😂.
Haha I'll take it.
Gila keren banget R33nya !!
Always love seeing the ride 😀
sounds goooooooooood
Not a fan of the R33 in general, especially compared to the R32 and R34. This one, however...wow, fantastic work. Looks so clean.

What was the black car at the beginning of
Mazda Familia
Sold on North America as Mazda Protege. It's been years since I last saw one...
Neo is better than 26, r33 and 34 gearbox holds the same power, main difference is 34 is pull clutch which people usually convert anyway, nice job.

what Rims
R33 and 34 both had the big box transmission, the R32 had the small box

This GTR IS CLEAN AS FUCK!!!
This is a GTST thou. Not all Skylines are GTRs.
@michaellegarde3125 lol this ignorance among the community is so unnecessary when it's onw google article away isnt it 😂😂😂
The rb26 does have solid lifters and vct isnt worth it once you start making power. I deleted my vct once my camshaft broke due to it

@@brandontization I love to live in a world where 550whp is the "safe side" haha. Awesome. Yeah, seems the vct is touch and go after a certain point
@@RoadsUntraveled yea delete it save you a headache and some weight lol I rev to 8,600 and that thing weighs alot
vct is never touch and go, it's free torque and horsepower. also the rb25det neo is solid lifter also so yes better than rb26dett head
Sick R33 dude

Could be perfect with TE's and removal of that whack looking rear camber.
Why don't people like the r33?

R32s break necks ..the body styling is better than the r33s
