I had to re-upload this video again because I forgot to edit in the Werner Werman boss fight and the last one completely broke . The proof will be added later because I'm busy this weekend so I don't have time to work on it. Thanks for 1K subs that's INSANE.

Heyo sic video! I didn't realize someone beat me to this until after uploading my attempt at this challenge, but the bee fight is actually possible on normal!
I essentially just routed out the first two phases in their entirety, maximizing the number of cards I could get. It doesn't seem to be possible unless you specifically get the orb->triangle pattern in her second phase, cuz otherwise you'll run out of cards too quickly and take too much damage before the final phase. From there, I just damage boosted and prayed I did enough damage to kill her.
You should try it! Although it did take me many, many hours to grind out, so do what you will with that information haha.

Also please stop commenting about ducking under the devil's attack because it only works on the legacy version of the game and I play on PlayStation so it doesn't work.

At 24:25, you technically don’t even NEED to jump during Werner’s second phase. If you’re in the bottom right section of the screen, you’re actually able to duck under the fire. I’m like 99% sure this is a glitch because it doesn’t work in the top right, top left, or bottom left corners, but for some reason in the bottom right corner it does.
The only reason you would need to jump to the next level would be if the bottom right bottle cap extended out, and even then I think you could still just smoke dash through it.
I actually disagree that the divine relic isn’t useful for plane levels, I think it’s easily the *most* useful. The only downside to using it is if you let go of the fire button you swap weapons. But since there’s only 2 weapons you can just…swap back. You also never have to let go of fire in most bosses since going mini doesn’t stop your fire. So with little to no consequences of using it, you can have smoke dash, coffee and parry ring all at once, with parry ring being especially useful since plane levels usually have a lot of parries.
I just don't like it because it changes when you move EX moves

EX moves are always the same in planes tho?
@@paulrance5445 when you use the divine relic it switches the two plane weapons everytime you stop shooting. In this case you would stop shooting by using an ex move then the weapons would switch. So if I'm using 4 ex moves in a row I switch weapons 4 different times which I just find annoying

@@impossiblehanley2732 The smoke stays between tiny and big transformation. Pretty much cosmetic on plane levels

Initially I thought you banned Chalice from use, but with Ribby and Croaks you could've used her and crackshot. Since she can parry by dashing and the crackshot EX is parryable, it would've been a walk in the park. At least whenever I did it, it was.
Yeah i was thinking that i just tried it, It took me like 40 minutes but i got it eventually, i also used the shield pal to complete it with the spread shot

Actually, in ribby and croaks with ms chalice and cracksot, you can use a ex and dash with ms challice, which is much easier.

I did this challenge very back then when cuphead came out, I wondered how I would beat bosses like phantom Express and king dice but after a lot of thinking I figured that it's possible to beat them...I just needed a "little" bit of luck
This challenge is definitely impossible without divine relic ( I mean it still is even with cuz of honeycomb herald)

For the record, Phantom Express is actually one of the easiest bosses in the game (except the last phase) even jumpless. The way to do this fight is to use Crackshot primarily and Spreadshot as a secondary weapon. During phase one, just stand at the far left of the screen using Crackshot and point up whenever the flying pumpkins appear. The Crackshot will kill them fast enough. The eyes might hit you once if you use this strategy and stand still but if you’re careful you shouldn’t get hit. For phase two, just stay under the head firing Spreadshot at it. Parrying the cart (if jumpless then use Chalice Parry Dash) to keep the cart in the middle whenever the head goes back into the cart so that you can adjust to the next appearance. For phase three, just use Crackshot and stand at the far left. Just aim at the parry skull before it’s above the parry parts of the cart and it will kill it in time, similar to the flying pumpkins. I haven’t really found a strategy for the last phase, just do it normally and with enough tries you should get it.
I prefer using converge and crackshot

I'm honestly surprised you were able to defeat Grim Matchstick without jumping, considering the way the clouds randomly spawn in and you normally have to jump from cloud to cloud, but great job man, you did it!
As for Rumor Honeybottoms... Yeah, that boss is literally impossible to defeat on regular difficulty without jumping.
Fun fact a dash will change your weapon with the Devine relic if you want an instant switch

A theory for the devil : If you are a little bit from the middle like half way between the edge of the screen and the middle and then roll as chalice you could dodge that arm attack because he might pull the arms away in time.

Ok so, post Bee fight me editing the comment. I think the simple mode is allowed. Why? Because if it weren't, then using the 2nd Super Art you usually get from Inkwell Isle 2 on the Ribby and Croak fight shouldn't count either.
You have to beat every boss in normal to beat the game

i think ms chalice would be better in baroness von bon bon because ms chalice can parry the candy in the last phase with her dash, or even use the dodge roll

I'm not sure what addition you play on, but I know that in the steam version of the game there's a way to access the Legacy patch [I think? The initial release of the game]. There's a glitch if you do a super and pause and unpause over and over again and get the right frame, you'll be caught in an infinite spin that you can't take damage in and can still shoot in. You'll float up with the screen on rumor honey bottoms level too! Grayfruit has a video called "Cuphead Glitch Huntin'" where he covers the glitch :)
You can skip rumors final phase by doing enough damage in the 2nd phase.

At least in the Xbox version, you were able to do this until they patched it. Maybe it's possible on steam? Idk

Another way to do the ribby and croaks parry part is to use ms chalice and the crackshot ex. Use the ex from crackshot under the glove then parry dash again into the glove. Her invincibility roll replaces the smoke dash charm anyway

For the bee level, you could potentially use the glitch which allows you to add extra players infinitely, allowing you to tank hits
It is however patched meaning you'd have to use an older version of the game, if it's possible to use the DLC with an old game version another method would be parrying the ghosts with Ms Chalice's dash to gain height

The divine relic also gives you the whetstone on plane levels which you can use to spam Cala Maria at the start of her phases while continuously shooting. It's a little hard to get the placement right(a little below her eyes), but once you do, it does MASSIVE damage.

Nice video, really enjoyed it. But wondered why didn't you use miss chalice for Ribby and Croax, Cagney and Phantom express?
For Ribby 1st and second phase you i-roll and to parry in phase 3 use ex cracked shot, parry it and then parry the arm (tried it, worked) then fill the meter up again. Then you only need the rng for bulls or try to i-roll through Tiger.
For cagney the cracked shot ex parry boosted me up enough and if not you can ex move parry ex move parry (the most i got was 2 times but maybe it is possible to do 3 times) also i-rolling (or ex shot parry boost) between the plattforms was much easier to do (for me). The down head move from him would also be dodgable.
For Phantom express the dash can easily move the cart and the cart can also be used to boost and then parry the tail from phase 4. (did him without jumping on my second try).
Sorry am a miss chalice fan and you mentioned you kinda forgott about her.
I started to use Ms Chalice later in the run so I was already done two of the bosses by the time I realized it was a good strategy
@@Chickeninja42 ah oki, just wanted to ask. Is 2 Player Mode also viable? Maybe the mugman army glitch for Honeybottoms? Or one Miss chalice the other mugman with cracked shot and lobber so at least miss chalice can boost up and then save ghost cuphead.
@@Deathy_is_me-_- yeah I think it would be, I just wasn't aware of that glitch until I posted the video, also the bosses would have double HP which would make it harder
@@Chickeninja42 Yeah, but only for 2p but if you spawn infinite mugman it should work, till i get a second player i keep getting stuck at the beginning of phase 2
