Excellent work Sir. The Em-EmMaj7-Em7 part makes the whole track for me, the little things you throw in sets you head and shoulders above all the rest of the backing tracks here on TH-cam, Stellar indeed Thank you.😀
Now, when I was just a little boy Standin' to my daddy's knee My papa said, "Son, don't let the man get you And do what he done to me" 'Cause he'll get you 'Cause he'll get you now, now And I can remember the fourth of July Runnin' through the backwood bare And I can still hear my ol' hound dog barkin' Chasin' down a hoodoo there Chasin' down a hoodoo there Born on the bayou Born on the bayou Born on the bayou, Lord, Lord Wish I was back on the bayou Rollin' with some Cajun Queen Wishin' I were a fast freight train I'm just a chooglin' on down to New Orleans Born on the bayou Born on the bayou, mm, mm, mm Born on the bayou, do it, do it, do it, do it Alright Oh, get back, boy And I can remember the fourth of July Runnin' through the backwood bare And I can still hear my ol' hound dog barkin' Chasin' down a hoodoo there Chasin' down a hoodoo there Born on the bayou Born on the bayou, oh, oh Born on the bayou Alright, do it, do it, do it, do it
Thanks for all you do! It's funny, you hear classic rock as a kid, a tune like Born on the Bayou and you label it as 'classic rock' then you grow up and experience life and try to embrace the suck and then you listen to Born on the Bayou and equate it more to Tool than you ever thought you would. Heavy music cloaked... then again I listen to 'What a fool Believes' and find that heavy too. Still, very hard to touch Tool when it comes to heavy, that's some fiercely desperate spiritual angst.
CCR, where less is more. I was just trying to do too much on this one initially, then I remembered how Fogerty plays super simple parts and now I got that damn groove down 😂
I heard he dissed his band cuz his voice is original and the main stand out feature of CCR save for perhaps the tremolo guitar or some sort of oscillating filter effects and 2 me that kind of makes him a total dick sure he could hire a backup band to emulate ccr with ease but 2 me honor and music quality walk hand and hand a betrayer can still make music but to a diminished potential Soul and heart go 2gether Yeah the FOGUE is a 1 of a kind but no more than any other great singers Here is an example that demonstrate outshining through righteousness and that would be the staple singers !!!
These are usually pretty satisfying tracks and such but the graphics are bit off-putting to my sensibilities i actually don't know why it just puts me off my desire to jam I like the ride work
This comment goes very much with your TH-cam handle lol. You don’t have to look at the graphics. It’s just there to give people some ideas they may not have thought about. Maybe just close your eyes and jam lol
🎸This track is FREE (for now) on Alpha Jams: alphajams.com/play/1179/jam-on-the-bayou
Right on
Oh, like this a lot! Playing E Native American Flutes, high and low octaves with a pentatonic minor scale. Thanks for this!
That sounds amazing!
Mmmmmmm a little Born on the Bayou feel to it! Love it.
ahhhh yeah
I was Sheryl Crow - All I Wanna Do vibes too

@@nowyoushred along with other stuff I do on guitar I can honestly say i play with Now You Shred at least 3 hours daily
Very cool
Groovy 🤟😎
Wow that's a Credence/non Credence groove. Very nice ! Thanks !
Have I told you my Credence story ? Short version, first concert I saw and got backstage to talk to them way way long ago.
Yes it is!

Totally agree!
TOOL is nothing like those songs but ok
@@user-tm6qh6mh3g tool fans are a different breed. Coming from a huge zappa fan.
E Mixolydian works nicely. In fact, I think Fogerty's solo is in that mode.
Some CCR style ok👍
Left a good job in the city
Workin' for the man every night and day
Fifth and third fret on low e groove

Yeah - all heart no technique!! Haha kind of like Neil Young
Tony Joe White Vibes here
Its kinda funny that Fogerty sang about the bayou but had never been to one. He had never left California.
Born on the bayou sounds better than born in the baja I guess😂
🎶”BORN IN EL CERRITO”
Yeah , music is like acting, they give you a song and you play it, it’s Hollywood for our ears

This isn’t really blues
Nope - it’s blues rock!
@@nowyoushred ah fair my bad, I somehow skipped over that word, my search term was for blues so I was expecting blues
