Hey Pete, I quite fancy some star footage myself. How long is the camera filming for to get the footage in these clips? My GoPro 11 eats batteries in the cold, do you use an external battery to keep charge? I never knew you were such a charismatic influencer!!??
All of the starlapses I've done to date have just been on one battery. Films for a couple of hours for a few seconds of footage. It's a brave man that puts an exposed USB-C socket to the peril of the Scottish night. I have just got some really small power packs though (5000mAh) that lasted all night in testing so next time I'm out on a camp I'll use one if I think it won't get soaking. Of course, if I was an influenza I'd tell you which type and would have affiliate links in my description 😂
