Cheers min! I'll be going even further next year but the value will be much higher. Bloodstock in a couple weeks. Stick around and see how they get so many more things right and at a much sheaper price. Mainly because they're not parasites.

@@PeteDevlinootnaboot yip, been to bloodstock many times, cracking festival with proper metal bands ..they seem to get things right.

Looking at other festivals and they all have sheltered rest areas and attractions away from the music to browse. Everything at Download is built for one reason and that is to extract your cash. They've even taken away the big dog to take your pics in front of. No expense spent.

@@PeteDevlinootnaboot it’s quite disappointing given the size of some of the names they entertain… we’re currently shopping around for some other festivals for next year, hope to see you both!

Belladrum, Bloodstock, Stonedead, Orkney Rock fest and Monsterfest left for this year. All great although Belladrum line up is a bit pants this time round. Probably sack that off next year. Graspop will most likely replace Download next year.

@@PeteDevlinootnaboot appreciate the suggestions! before I was beginning to think we’d need to go travelling. Fingers crossed they pull their fingers out and get back to what the festival should be about in the next couple years!

It's nothing more than a ploy to force people into buying Campervan Plus at quite frankly ridiculous prices. They really don't care once they have your money.

@@jenniferfair280 that's exactly it. Unbelievably I can drive/ferry from north Scotland to Europe for a 4 day festival and back for less. I'd rather not but they are giving us no choice really.

@@Desmondbrowne666 didn't actually have a problem with the line up. Apart from a7x the headliners weren't great but there was heaps of good bands on.

My last Leeds (19) it was only £90 for campervan. Had tickets for the cancelled Rage year too and that was cheap. My issue there was it was full of kids and no one watched the guitar acts. Watched Bob Vylan with about 12 people and 3 of them were Melvyn Benn and cohorts. This year felt busy at times but was nowt like last year. The problem is scheduling so that huge crowds walk together between stages rather than being spread out evenly over the site.

@@saltylips9965 plenty pits mate. Some brutal. Maybe fewer this year because of the mud. I don't pit that often now but there's plenty if that's your thing.

Yeah it's a great bit of kit. Few years old now, thinking of getting the bigger one. I have no doubt the substandard facilities are a deliberate push to get people to buy the more lucrative campervan plus with flushing toilets. OMG, just watched your Fenton vid, he looks just like my bordoodle Ozzy!

New Blood? Saw them on the Sophie Stage when they were just 17. They were incredible. Just love them.

Our friends from Manchester go every year and tell me it is the absolute best festival. Busy time of year and a very long way to drive for me but it will happen in the next couple of years. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Yeah, I'm lucky as it's only 45 minutes drive away. But I haven't been yet. Mainly down to work. I'm hoping to go next year as the days tickets are really good price.

Yeah there's only one Wargasm in the UK. I've seen them a few times and tried to like them but just can't. They're pretty pish even if Milky is miming some of her lines now. Mind you they're not alone in that. They've been given a push through having a family member high in the music industry but can't see them getting far. I doubt the other Wargasm have the might and resources to enforce a cease and desist on them though. Be fun to watch.

True it's way closer to what it should be. They bumped it up for a 4 dayer with double Metallica and "forgot" to put it back down again for 3 days with 3 cheaper headliners.

Hi Simon, thanks for watching. I should clarify, I triple bagged the Bog in a Bag and put it with the rest of my rubbish in a green garden refuse sack. BSCH will verify. I'm not that much of an animal (anymore) 🤣 General camping isn't so much of a rip off if you are quick enough. I'm not saying I'll never go again but it would have to be a stellar line up that is exclusive and I'd obviously be too late for a van pass so it would be a hotel job. Incidentally teh hotel the AA put us up in was decent. We laughed at the no muddy boot signs. Yes I'll be at Bloodstock and look forward to seeing you.

Was Bloodstock. I'll be looking out for you again this year. In fact, now that campervans have to walk through Midgard to get to the arena, you may get gatecrashed. I may make a follow up vid to back up all the claims but for campervan at least facilities have got worse for the price hikes. The shuttle buses were to unreliable to make district X viable outside of arena times. It's honestly a scam, they care not once they have your cash. Nowt wrong with your vlogs BTW, you do you.

@@chidzvidz I'm there from Wed and will do the silent disco again. At the end of the day, Download does so little to provide alternatives to the music, we all know exactly what there is, we just watch for the shenanigans 🤣
