Just to set the record straight, a lot of mods were moved to balance Cubs’ particular roster and inventory. The circle on yoda was of course intended to be an offense set mod to complete the set. Additionally, the triangle and arrow are tenacity sets solely because cubs did not have an offense primary arrow of Crit chance or offense sets to put on yoda to enable his ideal offense/cc sets. I found the offense primary on the arrow more worthwhile than a cc set with a speed arrow in the context of cubs’ inventory. I encourage folks to take a look at the mods on the roster as a whole for better context. Cheers 🍻
Appreciate the shout out guys! Mods are one of the most creatively engaging aspects of the game if you can break through that rough feeling of them being impossible to approach. I've been there, but there's a whole other world of (dare I say) fun if you can farm some fun mods to play with.
We need big save/reset buttons for mods. And when I mean save it is save your whole complete mods configuration, on all chars. That way, modding for events won't be such a pain, because remodding is a freaking pain.
I just recently realized you can spend ship currency in the Mod Shop. It's a great alternative to needlessly pumping money into ships you don't use and inflating your GP in the process.

100% on Fatals mod videos. It takes a while to get your junk cleared out but I did it over a weekend and saw an immediate improvement on my roster as a whole from a mod perspective.

Nice video . Very informative. But i wish you remove the background arena battle or minimize it and increase your profile screen. The battle is distracting and the preferred to you talk when your interviewing someone rather watch the battle on a Q&A segment - - - and we are talking about mods!
Great video I have always been fighting with mods to try and figure out the best combinations and have been wondering why more people don’t use the offense mod sets
I only worry about the Arrow mod having speed primary for that extra 30 speed. Other than that I go with what benefits the characters role better. So Tanks with Health/Defence/Tenacity and attackers with Offense/Crit Chance/Crit Damage.
Cannibal Raptor that extra thirty speed truly is less valuable on a yoda than a 6E offense primary, particularly when there are no high offense secondary arrows to be found in the inventory. It’s particularly true in the case of characters like yoda with turn meter generating mechanics independent of speed.
I have to disagree w something he did to ur mods. The 1st thing hes says is mod synergy is most important but them the 1st mod set u show us he did has 3 off mods on when u need 4 for the off bonus. He has a lone crit chance mod instead. Wouldnt ur offense jump alot higher just by matching the mod sets. I was shocked when I seen that is all. Ur view on this would b appreciated. Thx u. The idea for this video is quite cool but some of the advice seems off in my humble opinion. I totally disagree about veteran players farming mods from the mod challenge, and spending 15 crystals on the mod shop for refresh sounds like a waste of crystals for the average f2p player that cant even do all the energy refreshes. In my opinion veteran players should be farming salvage to 6 dot mod as many mods as they can. With GAC and g13 deapth on your 6dot mods inventory is way more important than having flat speed. As Mikayas said a balanced mod is more valueable than a mod with just a lot of speed because with g13 in factor the increases on the stats for the secondaries and primaries are way more valuable than farming for mods with speed. Not to mention that ships benefit a great deal from 6dot mods. So in my non expert opinion players with a good inventory of mods with speed should really focus on getting their good mods to 6dot and farm new mods from the store without using refreshes if they arent spending. I'm just saying this because i average 1st in arena and 3rd on ships arena every day and if i do refreshes on the mod store + the 3 refreshes on each energy i have 0 crystals left at the end of the day, and i'm guessing the most players are'nt averaging top 5 in both arenas. Not to mention that the 150M credits go away very fast if you start buying mods from the store. And btw this is just another opinion but having GMY with 3 offense set mods 1 CC and 2 tenacity is just wasting 3 off and 1 cc mod. you are not using the bonus and you are not using those mods to complete sets on other character. You would have a way better modding with full health/cc sets or a mix with the right primaries then like that, no matter the arguing about not having enough offense mod sets with the right primaries.
I had made an appointment to get Peempo to remod my account, but cancelled it as I had time on my hands, so I just went onto mod optimiser and did it myself. Maybe someone else could have got better results, but I’m happy that the work is my own... that and what these guys charge I think is ridiculous, maybe not compared to other costs of this game, but I really couldn’t justify that kind of expenditure on a mobile game compared to how I feel that money could be much better used, especially when I’m f2p otherwise. And what CG is upset about is that other people are making money off a part of their game where I’m sure they would much prefer they got that money... premium remodding service at CG coming, as soon as they get their second laptop!
SnoSurfer if you are f2p otherwise and have the time and dedication to invest in studying how to and actually moving your mods around, I applaud you for it. No one “needs” a service like what I provide, but it it helps those short on time or mod knowledge who really want to see some improvement in their arena/raid/GAC/TW performances. Obviously I can’t afford a re mod but what would it cost for you to look at my top 16 teams mods and just say I think your on the right track. I feel like I could afford like $10 flat fee and basically tell me “I think your on the right track but here’s five pointers that could improve your roster right now.” So I view modding service to be like getting a haircut. We all need it but some of us can only afford like a little off the top just to even us out ;) I just need the professional advice just to say I’m in the right direction and I would much rather give some money than no money.

your buddy mod your GMY strait wrong.. where gmy need tenacity, when he gives tenacity up and are out of range any harmful effect when that buff is on. also yes damage and crit damage is important. but in gmy situation speed is the key. when he is superfast he starts to rule in padme team= give protection to all and revan team= bounces strategic advantage back all the time.
Tenacity sets are there because of the offense primary arrow (cubs had none available of cc or offense sets), and the circle was intended to be an offense set to complete the offense set, but I made a mistake while shuffling yoda’s mods and left a cc set circle by mistake.

I always thought mods were pretty self explanatory. If u just read the kit and the base stats it's not hard for an intelligent person to figure out. It drives me nuts seeing someone's character with a speed set, one heath mod and one CC mod just bc the speed is 7 higher that way. Especially when their next toon has the same set up and if they matched the health and CC per character they'd get soooo much more benefit..i guess idiots are a plenty In swgoh
phil henry for the folks who have the time and desire, mod understanding is definitely attainable. Some folks are short on either or both and I’m happy to help them out : ) The difficulty of attaining god mods is real, but with dedicated daily investment, inventories do improve.
Idk, I'm skeptic of those who approach speed the way this guy does. Speed is the best stat in the game, period. Giving an attacker a CD triangle with CD primary sith no speed is pointless considering you can do the same but WITH SPEED
Rod Wazwaz every roll on speed is a roll that is missing on offense %. You can’t “just do both” equally. More of one sacrifices more of the other ; ) This guy values speed, but knows that other stats are more important in certain contexts.
@@mikayas I understand the importance of other stats in very rare cases but the way you modded Yoda is awful. My yoda puts that to shame. Your method is flawed because it equates other stats to speed and that just isn't true. A 310 speed Yoda with 11k offense is much better than a 215 speed Yoda with 12k offense because I'm gonna take 50% more turns.
@@mikayas also, a mod that has +150 offense and no speed isn't as good as a mod that has 25 speed with no offense. The way I know this is gac, I see people following your method constantly and there fastest toon is 280 and they cant even take a turn before it's over. If you have a reference roster you want me to look at to get a better idea I'd love to do that.
If the mod system was a lot more like Diablo 3 where I could re-roll 1 of the effects I would like it so much more. I’ve gotten so many useless mods that I’m burnt out on trying to make them better. The RNG aspect of even getting the right mod piece in the first place sucks. Then you add on the RNG that you’ll get one with the primary stat you want, then the RNG of the secondaries, then the RNG of those secondaries getting a boost each time. It’s too much. They need to alleviate some part of the RNG with mods because it’s fucking frustrating. Mods are key in this game. Relics don’t matter as much if a G12 team is modded out of their ass with speed and can still smoke your ass anyway. Fix mods, CG. Please. I’m so tired of then.

Whales not they only have great characters, they have luck with the speed secondary, normal people farm mods and the speed most of the times never rises lol
Can u get high speed secondary off grey level-e mods ? I set all mods woth complete sets with speed secondary I sell all my mk1.2.3 mods and all my grey mods am I wrong with what I do ?and I always get my decent secondary mods from the mod store Cubs sounds a lil lost tryin to talk mods lol
The highest speed secondary I have is a defence triangle, with c.c. primary and 26 speed secondary and some other random sceneries. It started as a white mod
Can you check the gain of your mic? I get your personality and you get very excited about things, I wish you could turn it down a bit. Would make it much better to watch imo.
My gain should be fine based on a lot of time I’ve put into tweaking it- no clipping here. I think what makes it maybe sound too loud is when I bring a guest on who doesn’t have a nice mic their sound is much thinner next to mine which is very full. I also had mikayas turned up a lot here but he still sounds kinda quiet, so I’d guess the contrast in audio quality is more what you’re hearing on this one. If I’m hitting the sweet spot you should be able to turn your volume to around 80% or less and hear me loud and clear... if you’re at 100% I’d expect it to be too loud

Unfortunately, that mod mentioned was indeed a terrible buy, but it’s tough to do things on the fly while recording without making a mistake here and there. I've played every single day since October 2017 and have no ever got a +25 speed secondary I didn't Kno they existed smh my highest is 23

Tenacity sets are there because of the offense primary arrow (cubs had none available of cc or offense sets), and the circle was intended to be an offense set to complete the offense set, but I made a mistake while shuffling yoda’s mods and left a cc set circle by mistake.
Did they make an easier way to delete mods? I was hoping you guys were gonna being that up.

My Yoda at R7 has 10,400 special offense and speed is 299. So I don’t need to sacrifice any speed.

I always thought mods were pretty self explanatory. If u just read the kit and the base stats it's not hard for an intelligent person to figure out. It drives me nuts seeing someone's character with a speed set, one heath mod and one CC mod just bc the speed is 7 higher that way. Especially when their next toon has the same set up and if they matched the health and CC per character they'd get soooo much more benefit..i guess idiots are a plenty In swgoh

It’s not that mods are hard to understand it’s just near impossible to get the god mods required or anywhere near the number required
phil henry for the folks who have the time and desire, mod understanding is definitely attainable. Some folks are short on either or both and I’m happy to help them out : ) The difficulty of attaining god mods is real, but with dedicated daily investment, inventories do improve.

Idk, I'm skeptic of those who approach speed the way this guy does. Speed is the best stat in the game, period. Giving an attacker a CD triangle with CD primary sith no speed is pointless considering you can do the same but WITH SPEED
Rod Wazwaz every roll on speed is a roll that is missing on offense %. You can’t “just do both” equally. More of one sacrifices more of the other ; ) This guy values speed, but knows that other stats are more important in certain contexts.
@@mikayas I understand the importance of other stats in very rare cases but the way you modded Yoda is awful. My yoda puts that to shame. Your method is flawed because it equates other stats to speed and that just isn't true. A 310 speed Yoda with 11k offense is much better than a 215 speed Yoda with 12k offense because I'm gonna take 50% more turns.
@@mikayas also, a mod that has +150 offense and no speed isn't as good as a mod that has 25 speed with no offense. The way I know this is gac, I see people following your method constantly and there fastest toon is 280 and they cant even take a turn before it's over.
If you have a reference roster you want me to look at to get a better idea I'd love to do that.

If the mod system was a lot more like Diablo 3 where I could re-roll 1 of the effects I would like it so much more. I’ve gotten so many useless mods that I’m burnt out on trying to make them better. The RNG aspect of even getting the right mod piece in the first place sucks. Then you add on the RNG that you’ll get one with the primary stat you want, then the RNG of the secondaries, then the RNG of those secondaries getting a boost each time. It’s too much. They need to alleviate some part of the RNG with mods because it’s fucking frustrating. Mods are key in this game. Relics don’t matter as much if a G12 team is modded out of their ass with speed and can still smoke your ass anyway. Fix mods, CG. Please. I’m so tired of then.

Whales not they only have great characters, they have luck with the speed secondary, normal people farm mods and the speed most of the times never rises lol

Can u get high speed secondary off grey level-e mods ? I set all mods woth complete sets with speed secondary I sell all my mk1.2.3 mods and all my grey mods am I wrong with what I do ?and I always get my decent secondary mods from the mod store Cubs sounds a lil lost tryin to talk mods lol
The highest speed secondary I have is a defence triangle, with c.c. primary and 26 speed secondary and some other random sceneries. It started as a white mod
Selling all grey mods is one of the largest mistakes in mod management by players.
Can you check the gain of your mic? I get your personality and you get very excited about things, I wish you could turn it down a bit. Would make it much better to watch imo.
My gain should be fine based on a lot of time I’ve put into tweaking it- no clipping here. I think what makes it maybe sound too loud is when I bring a guest on who doesn’t have a nice mic their sound is much thinner next to mine which is very full. I also had mikayas turned up a lot here but he still sounds kinda quiet, so I’d guess the contrast in audio quality is more what you’re hearing on this one. If I’m hitting the sweet spot you should be able to turn your volume to around 80% or less and hear me loud and clear... if you’re at 100% I’d expect it to be too loud

10542256 the video was recorded in one take and he tried to find a quick example of a good mod store buy. Unfortunately, that mod mentioned was indeed a terrible buy, but it’s tough to do things on the fly while recording without making a mistake here and there. Plus, that’s why he has me to make that roster pristine and encourage some improved mod understanding : )
