I would also like to add, if you buy mods from the mod store, focus on Triangle or Cross mods, cause those are the rarest. Especially those Triangle mods with Crit Damage for example.
Talk about perfect timing. I just unlocked mods a few days ago and just unlocked mod challenges yesterday. It's a lot to take in, this is definitely going to be an invaluable resource I'll be referencing as I learn more about mods.
Just got my first 5 roll on speed less then a week ago when slicing my JKR mods, then I got him to G12 (my first character at G12) yesterday and now have an amazing 6* mod on him. I got the zeta on his lead today

Great video. Been playing for 6 years and I hated modding. Hard to grasp the concept of picking the right ones that fit when I would just auto mod my toons. Glad this was here now I can spend half the day cleaning out all the trash mods that I have in storage and start doing it right.
I feel so dumb right now. Been playing since launch. I have 6,560,050 GP. I thought you had to level any mod regardless of rarity (aside from gold mods obviously) to lvl 12 to see all 4 secondary stats. So even with purple mods I instantly leveled them to 12. You've taught me something today and I appreciate you Ahnald.

The worst thing about Mod Farming from the Challenges is when you get 3 or 4 star mods on the max tier. Thank you for the tips! Been playing for years and I am super careful with my mod energy farming. A tip that might help with selling the mods, especially if you don’t sell every day, is take the ones you know you won’t sell (even if they are not speed heavy) to level 12 (15 if it’s a gray/green you want) and then go to sell and sort by speed. That way all the low speed ones are at the top and the higher level ones should stand out, that way you won’t sell them by accident.
My mods have been a mess but I didn’t know what to do. Before I joined the empire I was confused and upgrade mods to level 15 with no speed secondary’s. This has taught me the way. I’ve made so many credits selling my junk mods
Just stripped all my top players of their mods and sold about 100 additional ones. Smh I was oblivious to all this mod stuff. But the extra 2mil credits was nice. Thanks for the help.
Knowing your character's kit and how to use mods to compliment it's strenghts is essential. I have my Grievous almost at 100% potency and I'm mowing through high tenacity teams like it's no big deal.

And since you reccomended to farm Pheonix over EVERYTHING else I also got palpatine (A day or two ago now so I didn't use the 5 dot mod thing but still) And a side note because side goal I'm 50% done Unlocking Jedi Knight Anakin. 5 years if me not taking GoH seriously and now I'm doing it and I have my first two legends. You truly are a gift
One thing I will add is that if you are under gear lvl 12, if you are experimenting and have a mod that isn't assigned to a character, you will get a chance to slice the mod from 5a to 6e and it is expensive as Ahnald stated. You will likely be giddy and looking forward to putting it on your character after you do but, you will quickly discover that gear lvl 12 is required to assign 6 dot mods to a character. I did this and spent all of my resources, delaying my development a bit. I still salivate at the chance to put on that mod, but I am still only gear lvl 10. I hope this helps at least one person.
This is so helpful! On my g13 r5 Rex I have over 110 speed on him just from mods. Though my highest speed is a 20 speed mod that I have on my relic 4 Vader

Something like a Restore all mods button where u can save ur settings and come back to this with on click only no matter how many changes you have made. Atm to reset one Characters Mods you to at least reset 2 Mod sets if, and only if u have chosen the mods from just one other char... Maybe you, with the arms of the empire can reach out to be heared by CG. Love you vids, pls dont ever stop with that :D
Great advice. Not sure if you have the same issues getting triangle or cross mods, but I feel they are rarer drops so I'm less aggressive selling them compared to the others. These are the only mods I will buy with credits as well. Making sure they have a primary stat that synergizes with the set and a speed secondary.
Best mod for speed I've got is a defense primary cross with 26 speed, and it's on a crit chance set sliced up to 6-D. Best overall is a crit damage primary triangle with 19 speed, potency set also 6-D. Use that for Vader usually

If you have 3 nice stats on an offence mod and tenacity you have a 150% chance that tenacity is pushed up and on a defense mod it nearly always the other side around, there the attack +xy is the secondary stat which CG selects for me :D
I have 750 crystals and I'm working towards slkr. The moment I get everyone ready to go I'm taking my entire inventory, taking my 400+ mod energy and I'm just gonna go absolutely ham on mods for a few weeks
Is the modfarming shedule for the modchallenges or for the normal mod battles?:( (sorry if this is a stupid question, but for a beginner this is a very heavy topic)
