Oh such beautiful melodies of the Cook Islands. I love these guys. I just wonder where they hail from, coz their tune very much resemble that of a group called "The Sueni Boys" from Penrhyn Island. I was a big, big fan of the Sueni Boys back in the 80's. I wouldn't be suprised if any members of this group The Tongareva Boys are in any way related/connected to the members of the Suenis because they sound very much the same. My traditional Motuan village of Hanuabada in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, has a long association with Cook Islanders dating back to the late 1800's when South-sea Missionaries like Ruatoka Materua (from the Island of Mangaia/ traditionally named A'ua'u, the most southerly of the Cook Islands and the second largest, after Rarotonga) came to our shores to help spread the Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. This great Cook Islander served our people with distinction, died and was buried amongst our people. We have villagers and a street named after this great servant of the LORD. akameitaki!!
Nice music 🎵 God Bless 🙏
Noteaha e pange....love the old songs brings back memories of the islands..
