I can't wait for this one Wayno, I've said before how I love my resto mods and this is quite possibly going to be the ultimate one.

Apart from trivial weight penalty, no problem fitting larger front chainrings with an equally large cassette. Just ensure that you have a lowest ratio around 1.1:1 and a highest around 4.5:1 so you can descend as fast and climb as ‘slowly’ as you like.
