Step 1. Make a campaign during the 100 year war.
Step2. Have your players fight in Ba Sing Se for the earth side.
Step 3. Defeat the enemy Commander stopping the siege.
Step 4. Announce that the enemy general picks up the body of the Commander and play Leaves from the vines at max volume.
Step5. Make the players roll for emotional damage.
That's evil! Did Lu Ten die at Ba Sing Se, or was it elsewhere? I remember the flashback where Iroh finds out, and if I recall correctly, he had just destroyed the wall of Ba Sing Se and called the campaign off at the entrance as he finds out his son died?
Either way, love the idea and I would love to see my players face as that happens!
@SirVertigo it was implied he died at the spot where Iroh sings. But I could be wrong too.

Amazing breakdown for someone who hasn't even played the game and I appreciate how positive it is towards it. From my experience, D20 players have a hard time wrapping their heads around the PbtA mechanics with some even calling it unplayable. I'd be interested to see how your opinion of the game develops after playing it since, from what I've seen on your channel and based on what you said in the video, you're primarily a D20 player.
Regarding introducing your game to your children, I don't know how old they are but I've played PbtA games with my nephew who was 10 years old and with a teenager so I can say that younger players and inexperienced players will not have a hard time learning how to play. On the other hand, I've also played with veteran D20 players and they had a much harder time getting used to the, to them, strange mechanics.
It's a different system, I can't expect it to be the same as other D20 systems. Just because new or unexpected can't mean it's bad.
I've played call of Cthulhu and it used a D100 system that I actually find easier to use then d20 after you get it down, and I'm currently playing Equestria tales with my girls, and that uses basically all dice but a D20.
I'd watch more. ANd it seems I need to get myself a copy of this...
