Pitaka Air Omni 6-in-1 Wireless and Wired Charging Station Review

- Lisa Gade reviews the Pitaka Air Omni, a reasonably priced and cleverly designed charging station that can Qi wireless charge phones, AirPods 2nd gen and AirPods Pro, Galaxy Buds, Apple Watch and most anything that supports Qi wireless charging. The Aramid fiber covered station also has a USB-C reversible with Lightning tablet / phone charging station, a lighted jewelry drawer and both USB-C and USB-A ports for wired charging of Kindles, cameras, headphones and even slow charging of Ultrabooks and the MacBook Air. I loved their air quad but refrained from getting it because i wanted usb ports on the side to plug other devices. Thank you for this video! Im definitely getting one now that it has the 2 extra ports on the side.

which is exactly why I-d buy it. It has this whole ThinkPad-esque aesthetic going on.
I love the thinkpad aesthetic in general, and this thing almost nails the look, but the carbon fiber is just so tacky and ugly in a way that's not endearing at all.

Love the idea! Finally a charger for everything. What took it so long?
For those who noticed the top aramid fiber surface lift near the rear, this is a prototype, not using final adhesives. Also, I did tinker with it to see how it's put together and that likely caused some lift. The final product will use a different adhesive. Here's the official statement from Pitaka: "This issue has been addressed by our technical team and will not affect our customers’ upcoming orders due to we changed the glue to 3M-9448A adhesives. The sample we sent to you is the prototype we produced on February and we couldn't get this kind of glue because of the material shortage caused by the spread of the virus."

Hi Lisa - would you happen to know if these chargers put out enough EM to affect compasses?
The compass on my iPhone 11 Pro Max seems to function normally when on the Qi charger section of the base.

Clearly not Apple design... Sorry it may be functional.. But it's really ugly and you need a lot of space to put this somewhere.
