Air Omni, their 6-in-1 charging station that is very similar, has that. The problem initially is that Apple doesn't allow a Lightning adapter to be fitted onto the end. They found away around this for the Air Omni.
I personally don’t mind that the charger is not powered by USB-C, since this is something that I would plug in once and forget about it. With that being said, an additional USB-C port on the back would have been nice.
I tested it with my iPad Pro Smart Keyboard Folio. Works fine though made it tighter on the watch. The bottom connector can move up and down to accommodate a case. Most standard cases will work just fine.
This is a steal at $200. You need an 18W iPad charger with Apple MFI certification, an MFI-certifed Apple Watch puck, a 5W qi charger, and a 10W Qi charger. Not only that, but you need premium models made out of steel, aramid fiber, or other above-average materials such as metal or leather. Finally, you need to get all of that into. Nomad, which we love, has a metal and leather 10W charging stand for $100 on its own. Getting all of this into a single body, with high-end materials, paying for Apple certification, that's a great price at $200.
@@AppleInsider thanks and I agree at a certain extent, but for basic needs of just charging multiple devices at once isn't worth $200 TO ME ,even if I had a lot of money to spend. no one asked to have high premium designs either as we're only asking for functionalality 🤷🏽♂️
Dude I get it, but charging stations like these are some of the most ridiculous looking things. No one charges stuff like that. The only common way of charging is just laying the iPhone down on a platform. Even that pop up Apple Watch charger is so stupid and gimmicky.
What are you talking about? Why is a vertical Apple Watch stand gimmicky? Most people prefer that because it enables nightstand mode. AND if you have a cuff-style band, like a leather loop, it won't work when it is flat. And you're telling me people don't charge their tablet, phone, headphones, and watch together? They want to charge them in four different spots? Am I the weird one who literally charges their stuff together most nights? I don't always have to charge my iPad or AirPods but when I do I like putting them in one spot rather than multiple.
waiting on the Latercase version
Philip Clark 😂👏
😂😂😂
Have you heard the tale of Pitaka the Wise?
Hahah
For the price it should come with changeable lightning/USB-C adapters for iPad charging, not be two separate variants!

Is there an up to date one that has mag safe but still charges all 4 items
I like it, but I'm not paying &199 for that.
Sean Tariman for 200$ that’s a good price. I thought it’ll be around $300. That’s a lot for $200
For the price it should come with changeable lightning/USB-C adapters for iPad charging, not two separate SKUs!
$125-150 is more reasonable in my opinion.
MAXYSZN If you live in outside from US you'd understand why its price is too expensive for my taste.
How about charging time??
Did you say this works with iPad usbc and iPad lightning?
uh huh

Good price as chargers go. I'd love one.
Man.....this is LIFE!!!!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Waiting for the Air Onmi to release. That’s a better buy than the AirQuad.

Its Appleinsider if you are special but its Apple Insider if you speak english. Thats why there is a pause every time you say those two words.

Yeah but you can’t charge the IPad wirelessly
See you have the silver one I sponsored and they have told us all they are delayed for months.
Good video
Nobody is testing it with a iPad cover. I don’t think anybody uses it with out a cover

200 is a no go for me 100 is reasonable

Jomary DeOcera Nowadays for a $100 you’re only going to get the iPhone charger and maybe a usb charger for a extra device. Tech is crazy expensive.
@@Rivs5117 I agree on tech getting more expensive due to technologies advancing, etc so maybe that is the reason and I am just broke 🤷🏽♂️

Premium price, too. WAY too expensive.

I don’t like it.
The dongle for the tablet is shit and super wobbly and I returned mine. I highly DO NOT recommend this product.
