    Is it possible to add tags or send leads to different lists on hubspot or airtable depending on specific informations from the webflow form, like checkboxes for instance?

    Hello, thank you for answering my last question. I have come across a new issue I am hoping you can help with. I was able to create the logic and during the test everything is a success and the contact appears in webflow. However once I published the logic its returning fails on all submissions and the contact is not being create, I retested the logic and again during a test it all works. Not sure what to do next?

    This is a great introduction thank you. How complicated is it to get these contacts into a pre-existing list? A newsletter list for example.

    • @Webflow
      @Webflow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as your JSON code uses the fields name that your Hubspot lists already have, you should have no problem with this workflow.

    Hi, thanks for this really informative video. I've got a quick question regarding data import to Hubspot. Earlier, our data used to be automatically imported into Hubspot using the tracking code, which would include the 'source=form ID' of the contact from webflow. But now, it only states 'This contact was created from Offline Sources from Integration'. Is there a way to include the form ID information like before using this method? Thanks in advance!
    I hope that makes sense! Thank you in advance

    • @Webflow
      @Webflow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey David! Aron here! I'm not super familiar with Hubspot but I believe if you have `source` as a field on a contact you can send that over using Logic. Some caveats: I don't think you'll be able to make the source dynamic so if you have a form on a collection page, you won't be able to identify which page it was filled out on. Additionally, `source` would have to be a contact field (I'm not sure if that's the case today in your setup?)

    Amazing video! Question, will these flows still work If I were to export and host in another site such as Shopify? I use Webflow to Udesly often and Logic would be a great addition to those projects.

    • @Webflow
      @Webflow  ปีที่แล้ว

      To use Webflow logic, your project must be hosted with Webflow. Exporting your site only gives you the HTML, CSS, images and JS core to your project. This does not include Webflow logic. Hope this helps :)

    Just a heads up to anyone relying on this tutorial: Hubspot API keys have been deprecated (no longer available) and they have replaced with a "Private App". The Private App is only available to Webflow Enterprise plan subscribers -- which is a major step change in cost for webflow developers.

      This needs to be higher!!!!!!!! This tutorial is no longer viable.

      So you have to go back to zapier or integromat? That will work? @darrenbeale

      This is not accurate. I got it to work with a basic webflow paid plan.

    Hello! And what happens if the contact already exists in our Hubspot data base? I tried to add another HTTP request action with a PATCH request method but it shows me the message "The response body could not be parsed to JSON so it is being kept as Text.".Can someone advise how can I both create and update contacts with the Webflow logic?

    • @Webflow
      @Webflow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Annie! Looking at the Hubspot API documentation, there's way to upsert a contact (update if one exists, create if not) so this will require two API calls. Unfortunately, there's no way to condition an API call based on the response from the previous step (check if contact exists -> create contact, if not -> update contact) so this will not be possible with Logic as it is today.

    How do you connect multiple forms in one project using Logic.

  • @emiliapanish-hoffmann896

    I'm just curious why this method would be better than using the Hubspot forms integration in Webflow? I've watched the whole video and figured out how to do this, and I haven't tried the integration yet, but it seems like the integration may be a better way to, in particular, get correct text field entries sent to HubSpot and easily differentiate between different forms? I'm not sure because I haven't tried the integration yet, but I'm wondering if someone has input :)

    • @Webflow
      @Webflow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Emily! Depends on what you're trying to accomplish, and there are trade-offs in each situation.
      Using Hubspot forms would send the responses directly to Hubspot and easily map fields but styling may be more limited!

    To anyone watching this trying to push leads to a CRM from a standard "contact us" form, be ware that if you have a text area field and the user writes a message with any line breaks, logic sends malformed data in the HTTP request and your external system will likely fail to handle the request because of this. Bugs bugs bugs.

    This is great all the way up to when you realise you have to add consent checkboxes. and Hubspot's legal form consent is not part of the customer.object its completely separate. so cannot use any of this.

    • @Webflow
      @Webflow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Benn! You're right that we didn't cover how to use Hubspot's native consent functionality using a non-native form.

    • @emiliapanish-hoffmann896
      @emiliapanish-hoffmann896 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is there maybe a way around this maybe by just setting up a custom property in HS for consent and then an automation that updates people's consent based on that? I don't remember exactly how consent works if you're using a non HS form but I would think it's possible?
