    That BJJ sequence when he snapped noguera’s arm is still one of the best I’ve seen in MMA. Rogans commentary is legendary as well.

    Because of Frank Mir i got into MMA, i randomly saw the fights against Lesnar and immediately fell in love with the sport.

    probably my favorite fighter or up there to ever do it him catching lesners leg was legendary and one of the only guys in the heavyweight division to actually have a bunch of grappling going on. always super fun to watch.

    I love how humble most of these guys are and how excited they are to talk to their own heroes in the business, or just shear respect for the generation before. Much could be learned from how the "tough guys" handle physical aggression, discipline, respect, honor and humility.

    I recently saw his analysis of the O'malley vs Yan fight and he had a really good perspective and understanding of the great fight that it was and how both those dudes are amazing fighters. Idk why more people can't enjoy that battle instead of just claiming this close battle was a robbery.

    Frank Mir was badass in his day! Not as celebrated as he should have been. What is the first BIG guy who is bad ass at ground game and submissions in heavyweight in UFC. He was one of the first great guys who truly treated it as a sport. He didn’t have to hate the guy to bring the challenge to him. underrated.🧐

    Frank is dropping some psychological bombs in this. Arnold Schwarz also confessed to going through a violent phase in his life before he became Mr. Olympia; he said he had a chip on his shoulder and had something to prove to himself and others, but he grew out of it as he got more success. BTW, I had a blast in Frank's club Rhino in Vegas a few years and saw some thick, tough bouncers there, all cool dudes though.

    GOD BLESS YOU PADDY THE BADDY!!! UFC treats Frank Mir like he never existed! Top 5 heavyweight champions of all time and top submission artist of all time. EXCELLENT commentator as well. On one of the UFC weigh in commentary shows they didn't even have him on the list of top submission artists. His wins were very unique and expertly executed. The arm lock on Pete Williams was just extraordinary.
