    💭 Day 7 Thoughts:
It was a nice decision to stay in Saxamonde instead of pushing towards Redondela-we had the entire Albergue O Corsico all to ourselves (while we heard Redondela was packed), and it was quiet and beautiful. We also had the most 'magical' and memorable lunch at Fran Hamburgueseria (O Porriño)-the owner is also a magician and gave us a free magic show plus liquor shots to send us on our way.
    Bom caminho/buen camino,
    David 🐚

Greenery and forest beautiful. No rain to start the day is always a plus. What’s your number from the “grumpy scale” for that day? LOL Is there a certain time of the day that the number is higher? Beautiful walk!!! 👍🥾

Haha mine was like 6/10 in the morning...I was actually reading about the walk and was discouraged that some said it was industrial...but it turned out great. I guess it's not always good to read too much into what others say...but rather just be in the moment and experience everything for what it is-industrial or not!

😘👍. Buen camino amigo 🙏

Good food really beats the grumpiness.
But when ascending walk, sitting down beats the good food 😃.
Okay off to the next day video.

Wow, good to see your update with new Camino trail! I just finish Camino French way on last week and going to Camino Portuguese on next Tuesday, I wonder that is it warm enough at night with just sleeping bag liner for you? Because in French way I bring my sleeping quilt and I would like to cut down my packing weight with just sleeping liner in this new trip.

Thanks so much! Congrats on finishing the camino Frances! It’s warm enough with just a sleeping liner (that’s all I brought), and I went in April. Most albergues have blankets too. And I think if you go now…a sleeping liner will be all you need

David, Nice Vlog!. I am trying to prepare for a Brompton (16 inch wheel ) trip using your route. Need to travel lite. Do you need a sleeping sheet in the Hostels? Some seem to have linens on the mattress and pillow , this place in Saxamonde is bare.

Always a good idea to bring a sleeping sheet (I use a sleeping liner). Buen camino!
