Geez. My 2004 leica sustem was waaaaaaay faster and better than this. Wow, horrible design. Lets make the operator hit as many buttons as possible everytime you move. Geez, im getting a new 323 in 2 weeks, this just ruined me to watch such an advanced system be absoluty horrible. My 20 year old leica was a 1 button press to recapture my grade after moving the machine. Wgat a major disappointment. Who in engineering thought it was a good idea to conolucate such a simple process? Im already regreting this new 323. Thanks for letting me see my disappointment before i recieve this horrible technology
Just to be clear you can set up the bench button and depth button on the buttons on the joysticks so you don’t have to click through the screen like I demonstrated, but for a video like this having the visuals for people to see helps understand what is going on. Also as I mentioned if you get the laser catcher installed you don’t have to hit any buttons when you move speeding it up even further. I would encourage you to ask your local dealer to send their trainer out with your new machine so that they can show you the various ways to navigate things, it’s not a complicated system when you program the buttons on the joysticks for what’s best suited to your operation. I apologize for confusing the process and hope you enjoy your new machine.
