This sound is so poetic! I just got mine today its not as long as yours, I will pray that God give me a good sound that glorifies him. I been practicing but need more work

PART 1 of 2----This is me blowing the shofar in Israel, at the airport, Caesarea (temple), the southern steps of the Temple in Jerusalem, Megido, Carmelite chapel, mountain top and theater at Bet She'an, and trying different shofars in gift shops.
Well Done! I feel that the Shofar is a Holy Instument.

When God calls us to blow the shofar He anoints us to do so.
The placement of the jaw is very important. The jaw, especially for the horn MUST be pushed forward somewhat from its normal position at rest, so that the teeth are in line with each other (up & down) as though you were biting a sandwich (but not however pushed out beyond being even with the upper teeth). Another easy way to visualize this concept is to imagine spitting a watermelon seed out. You will not roll the lips over one another--the jaw will come forward a bit in a very natural way.
SHALOM, ALL!. On this day of Rosh Hashanah, I currently do not own a shofar, but I will be purchasing one before Hanukkah. Until then, I made a recording of different believers sounding their shofars. What a glorious sound! Yahuah please hurry!!!!
excellent this takes a lot of practice and are not easy. The anointing has to be on a person

I bought the shofar from a Jewish vendor at a Christian retreat in Pennsylvania. You really need to try a shofar before buying it. Mine is a kudu antelope horn from Africa

@Scraxkat I played only one shofar in these videos unless you saw me playing in a souvenir store in Israel where I tried one that belonged to the store. I bought mine from a Jewish vendor in Pennsylvania.

this horn is obtained for a very rare animal called the great koudou which is only found in central africa and south africa. google it the kudu horn
now, ask yourself this question? where did ancient isrealites getting this kudu horn to make that shofar, blowed before prayer. this same shofer used to destroy the great jericho walls? obviously from africa, but no where in the bible it's mentioned that the jewish people went to search for the shofar in africa, because they were in africa and they were using something that was familiar to their environment, this shofar is still used in many tribes in africa you can google it and read the bible. real Hebrew were black. not the white caucasian you see today in that so called isreal state.
