I got the TIGGO 8 LUXURY EX last january 2021.The issue ive experienced is that matakaw sya sa gasolina sa stop and go traffic at pag lagi mo dinidiinan ang accelerator , pero pag maluwag na ang daan ok naman ang gas consumption nya kelangan mo lang pagaralan ang behavior nya dapat hindi mabigat paa mo. It took me a year to understand its behavior. Naikot ko na ang mindanao with my TIGGO 8 ,wala na akong issue na masabi other than the one i've mentioned . Im happy and satIsfied with it . It is fast if you want it to be fast, but if you will be driving it over 100 kph you compromise your gas mileage. If you want a fast suv go for other brands . The TIGGO 8 serves its purpose

The issue ive experienced is that it is greedy for fuel in stop and go traffic and when you always press the accelerator, but when the road is free the gas consumption is ok, you just need to learn his behavior should not be heavy on your feet. It took me a year to understand its behavior. I've been around mindanao with my TIGGO 8, I have no issues to mention other than the one i've mentioned. Im happy and satisfied with it. It is fast if you want it to be fast, but if you will be driving it over 100 kph you compromise your gas mileage. If you want a fast suv go for other brands. The TIGGO 8 serves its purpose

It's a more comprehensive warranty that covers all moving parts of the car, unlike other warranties that have a lot of fine print.

BYD cars scored higher on reliability on other country, yet they are more underrated in PH. IDK why?

BYD makes electric vehicles and it's not that in demand yet in there I guess. Here in Singapore it's already common, there are taxis and buses plying routes here

i had a chery cowin back in 2008. 3rd month, radiator fan busted.un ceiling cloth lumundo.though pinalitan nila ang fan at ceiling.ganun padin.tas may something nasira sa transmission. 2mos wla pang parts.pinagawa ko sa talyer pinalitan ng toyota part tpos dinispose kona

You got it all backwards. If you are a brand and you are going to offer warranty, you are risking of spending company money for repairs of faulty products. The longer warranty and more comprehensive packages shows that the brand is confident that they won't be making any significant repairs to their cars within those timeline.
If you're not confident about your product, having it under a longer warranty period is a business suicide. You will go broke if that happens.

You, however, glossed over the reliability issue with Chery by not addressing it directly. Long warranties don't, a reliable vehicle, make.
Long warranties are a nice 1st step to address the reliability perception.
He can't because he doesn't own a Chery and at the time of the video, Chery cars are newcomers in the country.
Warranties can make a company broke. Not unless they're sure about it.

@@manugatzi6158 Not necessarily - some manufacturers might give a long warranty period but when it comes to acting on it you can get shoved from pillar to post.
Also if you have a 5y warranty but have to take your car to the workshop every month, it's because is more reliable.
Chinese cars now a days are gettiing better, but Id still prefer Japanese cars, but thats just me🙂

No thanks! I'd rather pay the extra few hundred thousand for a reliable and well built car like a Toyota...My dad still has his 1990 toyota corolla up and running and its still going strong!
Chery is relatively new so we won't know for sure. But I think doing proper self maintenance checks and knowing the car inside and out will guarantee that it will last long assuming parts are available.
Same with the truck. A friend a mine went to have a canter about 400k more in price. I went for a foton. We got our trucks paid, and both are trucks are doing great, but I got a chery tiggo pro 2 for the savings. Money well spent.
A car's reliability is more on the owner/driver's driving habits and consistency of proper maintenance rather than the brand. Even a toyota or honda could break down quickly if the owner/driver does not take care of their car properly
