Geoff's tone is unmatched; so round and smooth and warm. And he has so much control and agility, and that's without even getting into how brilliant his arrangements are. But speaking of VoicePlay, one that I bet you'd really enjoy is their cover of In The Hall of the Mountain King. Even if you don't think you know that piece of music, I promise you do; it's been used everywhere, from movies to advertisements to cartoons and probably a million other place too. Or if you're a Stranger Things fan, their cover of Running Up That Hill is also spectacular.
I always love Geoffs rich rumbling bass notes and you can always hear him singing in his higher range in the background harmonies, but I love it even more when he sings lead in his, oh so pretty tenor range! This is a lovely feel good Christmas cover with just the right amount of Geoff humour! Thank you for another enjoyable reaction! 🙂👍🎄
As you say, it's so much work. First creating the musical arrangement, then recording each siniging part, adding in some music or percussion using plug ins; there must be a story board to plan the video filming and then there's filming each persona against a green screen. It has been said that Geoff never wears green, that could be why. :) And then of course he has to add the whole thing together on his computer, and edit. It's a huge amount of work and it's always worth it.
I swear l though I was listing to Josh Turner singing this song lol this was a good beautiful song love it great reaction as always Tauri Merry Christmas to you your hubby an both your families love Cody
Hi Tauri that must have taken quite a number of takes but creative nevertheless and good to get to hear an artist with predominantly a low resister but with a higher range which is well rounded. Graham
I used to work with corrections dept and every time i see this video I look at the beginning and think "that looks like 4 convicts dressed alike in an old jail cell" I love the way it changes as it goes on.
