Hello, I am a super pale middle aged guy from Kentucky who’s been listening for a short while now. I like how you talk through Korean modern culture, LA life, movie business, music, and comedy. You get likes from me each time I listen.
Why dumb never put a take out on the rap beef? The biggest LA rapper, vs his biggest co-sign in rap battling. You would think he got something to say as a battle rapper
We’ve talked about it a few episodes ago and really had nothing new to add to the conversation that every single person in world hasn’t already said lol
@@dumbfoundead I saw the one when Rek was excited about it at first but y’all turned down the convo. Was there another time? If so plug me up with the name of the ep to check it out please :)
Been noticing that Steff may* have some deep seated qualms with Dumb on their friendship. Maybe invite a therapist on the next show? 🤔💡 That’d be interesting
Three, actually: Lexus is Hmong, Kendall is Vietnamese, and Kaylee is Korean. Plus Savanna being part Trinbagonian means there's potential for some South-Asian blood somewhere in there.
Straight up, the major k-pop companies are currently seeking international growth by spinning up bands with predominantly non-Korean members and a focus on non-Korean markets, after that playbook in Japan and China proved successful. JYP calls the business strategy “globalization through localization.” The two biggest names right now are VCHA from JYP and KATSEYE from Hybe. But kinda like you said, an “American K-Pop group” feels a bit odd when Western fans seem to be specifically attracted to the “oooh, exotic foreign thing” element of k-pop, seemingly moreso than actual music/dance. And then neither have had near the level of success of their respective Asian domestic market corporate sibling bands.
I never paid attention but you guys are right put the other A back in AAPI lolll! The funniest part is there are plenty of kpop people who are ACTUALLY from America 😂
The cats dont like Rick bc if youre the chosen one you know how special cat affection is. You actually have to try w a cat. Having cats taught me to be a better dog parent bc i see more of whats needed to stimulate a dog to make them really happy and fulfilled. I got offended ngl 😅.
Get a rabbit. They’re as independent as cats but will come to you just like a dog without all the slobber/desperation. Rabbit diet is also cheap since all they eat are vegetables and hay. They also love cardboard so just give them your amazon boxes as toys. And most of all, they don’t stink since they clean themselves.
There's not one episode where that girl host brags about how a random old man hits on her and she ends up going on a date with them like we get it love 😅😅😂😂
I only heard the first few seconds but here’s why you don’t have the following that you deserve. Because you’re still playing to the white crowd. The best part of Asian culture is the intensity and the realness, that stuff that cuts deep. You had that before but now you’re sitting on a couch talking gossip brother
Not surprised by Steffi’s take on dogs lol I don’t have a pet but if i did, i would NOT trust her with it
Love when the OG cast gets together, my favorite episodes
Its always a good day when theres a new ep of the podcast. God bless you all
Love having the OG crew!
Jamsil resident here, tuning in on my way to the samusil haha, love your pod guys keep it coming 🤙

There IS a AAPI kpop group!!! It's called BGA! where my kpoopers at!😂
Either cats or dogs are great pets for companionship, I just think the quantity is where the problem starts
The whole Make Asian American Great Again conversation is hilarious.

Everyone in town knows who Jonathan Park is aka Dumbfoundead. Awesome!!!!!

It would be better to say "no shade" instead of "have you no shame?". Fun podcast, will watch this group again soon.
this is the highlitht of every wednesday
I don’t watch when there’s guest (can’t wait for Anderson paak) but I just like the OG team
Hey my name is also Jonathan Park, and I’m going to start copying your hairstyle too. Nice style 👍
I'd be in an American Kpop group, but I don't live in LA or NY lol soooo
Cat pooping where theyre not suppose to be is a training aka owner problem lol
Did dfd go on the real podcast while in sk?
That's right, Queenie. U embrace ur cringe power. They owe u dinners, gifts, and VENMO money. Feel empowered (or entitled)! 😂😂😂
You guys are so cute 🥰

You're creating separation between Asians and Asian Americans with the comment about AAPI.
5 stars would smell again.
덤 말 잘하네 ~ 옆에 대마피고 잠옷입은사람 누구 삐적마른 les 는 누구 ? I know Dumb used to rap in ancient years ago.
Dumb reminds me of Bobby Lee in the sense of their women choices.
There's a Korean American version of BTS. It's the sht.
Dam dumb man up always sad talking bout his parents like boohoo fix it 😂
24:49 is this a joke?
Steph again... Meh
