I tried this exact technique on my curly haired client/ sister (without seeing your video first) , and I always get so critical of my work. I was so thrown off by my decision to instinctually leave that slice of darker hair in the front near the face (as you explained it makes the others behind it pop that much more) So I thought I had done a bad face frame this whole time. This is a partial. But you can still get a great result with a full. Your stylist will be able to determine what would be best based on the look you are trying to achieve.
How do you do the front of her hair? My fronts look like her before.But I’ve got curlier hair than her.Can I get this cut and separate my hair from the middle? Lastly, what u call the whole hair cut?Is it straight
Style wise? I just diffuse it how I did in the video. But if you are doing it yourself at home you can flip your hair to the side or over. The cut has long layers with a face frame. Hope this helps

Teasy highlights are when you tease the hair to create a rooted effect but adding color to the base and bringing it down kind of does the same thing. This technique gives a transition of color from dark to light. Hope this helps.
