    You know, you're exactly correct. I open cans of cranberry sauce from ends but never thought of doing it with puree. Thanks!

    A couple of tips. Mix the cinnamon with the sugar then mix in, it distributes better. Open both ends of the pumpkin and push it out.

      I always do the can trick when I open up cranberry sauce.
      However this particular brand has a can with NO lip on the bottom so my opener can't grip it to open that end :)
      Thanks.

    I’ve never seen this version before.
    I just follow the 2 pie pumpkin pie recipe on the back of Libby 100% pumpkin. It will make a 9X 13, no need to grease the pan. Use 1 yellow dry cake mix to cover the 9X13 pumpkin pie filling and pat the dry cake mix with one cube of butter, scatter pecan pieces over the pats of butter. Bake according to the directions on the 2 pie Libby’s Pumpkin Pie recipe.
    Do not eat warm!
    Cool and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy with fresh whipped cream, cool whip, and or vanilla ice cream.

    What was that you poured in before cream

    • @TheInsecureChef
      @TheInsecureChef  ปีที่แล้ว

      Umm.....the first ingredient is the pumpkin purée (pure-E or pure-RAY ( however you wish to pronounce it). It goes in first, followed by the evaporated milk. Therefore, to directly answer your question, the pumpkin purée was put in before the evaporated milk.
      Give it a try. It is delicious. Thanks! Happy Holidays.

    Suggestion: try putting the sugar in the bowl first, then stir the cinnamon into the sugar to distribute it, then add the liquids. I think it will be more fun.

      Thank you for the suggestion. That would seem to be a better order-of-operation. Enjoy the cake!

    looks like more of a tablespoon of cinnamon ??

      Hi. Welcome. I've doubled checked and it is indeed, 1 teaspoonful of cinnamon. I looked at my video and I can clearly see the "lime colored sticker" on my measuring spoon and checking I see that the lime colored labelled one in my set of spoons is the teaspoon. However, I mention in the video that I am of the opinion that you can't have too much cinnamon! So, a rounded teaspoon wouldn't hurt anything in this recipe :).
      Try it it is very tasty.
      Thanks again.
