  • If you've got a vehicle that runs too warm, it might be time to do some part replacement BEFORE it leaves you stranded. The 67 Dart has always run warmer than I'd really like, so I'm replacing the radiator,, water pump, thermostat and hoses and while I'm in there, swapping the mechanical to a pair of electric fans.

Changing that bypass hose without removing the water pump is a pain. That was possibly the first thing I ever did on a car, and it really sucked.

Great video, and I have one question:
Does any gasket or gasket sealer go in between that plate and the pump?

Definitely a gasket. Sealer is your preference

@@YoshimoshiGarage Because I’m replacing the the radiator water pump and thermostat but I don’t have a fan shroud for the fan I have in there so I have to go to electrical fan
