    Loossemble’s debut was exciting, not only because it had a fresh lineup but we can finally see the hidden girls stand out in new ways. The new album finally utilized their unique voices in the way past LOONA songs were not able to. Wishing Loossemble a safe, happy tour and promotion period 🥰 Loossemble fighting !

    Honestly i think CTD were GENIUSES by making loossemble promote on the US while Korea had their students exams. In Korea the student exams are like a really big thing and everything is shut down, so music shows are cancelled by that time. CTD are doing things better that I thought

      This is just not the time for promotion in Korea. National Highschool Exams, Asian Games and even Mooncake Festival are happening. It's better for them to directly promote at US. They might overestimated their popularity a bit tho....

      Asides from that, LOONA never was that big inside Korea, most of the fandom was found overseas, specially in north america, so beginning a tour/debut there was a must

      ive been an orbit since hyeju debuted and have always trusted the girls' skills, but i can understand why some are a little hesitant. BBC only pushed a part of the members, while hiding others from the spotlight so often, they looked visibly insecure whenever they had to showcase their talent! the best thing that has ever happened to Loona was leaving that shit company. i'm so excited to see what they get to show next :-)

  • @M00coww1

    As a longtime Orbit, I agree with a lot of your concerns pre-debut. I'm so so so glad that everything seems to be going well (sans the tour stuff, I hope the promotion goes well in Korea when they return.) Everyone has really seemed to be shining in this comeback, all the lines and screentime spread well across the five memebers... We really needed subunits with a group so big but BBC and Covid didn't help with all that. 😒 Another thing that makes me so happy is all the writing credits on the songs for the members! And the fact that Yves was able to write and produce a song for them as well. Such a cool crossover.
    Can't wait to see what they come up with next, and what's in store for Heejin and Chuu in October, and ARTMS in the future~

    I was a very casual LOONA listener who only really knew their title tracks and liked the members, but Loossembles entire 1st mini has been on replay all day for me!!! I’m absolutely in love with the sound and also the MV for Sensitive. They killed it. I’m even considering ordering the album now (if I can find it in stock). I wish them nothing but the best for their tour and upcoming projects - wishing the same to all members of LOONA of course.

    I went to the show in New York and despite the ticketing concerns and short setlist, it was a good time!! I'm even planning on doing a video on it because it was so much fun. I think orbits that have really stuck by these girls will enjoy this, it was even more special for me listening to everything for the very first time them less than 5 hours later seeing it performed live. So do the ticket prices properly reflect that this is a showcase, NOPE! But it's nice to attend and have the girls promote in the US, especially since i believe holidays are coming up in korea and they wouldn't be able to promote on music shows anyways during that time

    • @ginoiminoi
      @ginoiminoi 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      That’s how I feel too! I think the showcase is meant as more of a fanmeeting or a kind of healing moment for the fans and the group after everything they’ve been through. I bought my ticket thinking it would be a concert, but my main intention was just to see the girls again. I think that was what the company was thinking too, but the whole difference between a concert and a showcase is definitely lost on an American audience:,)

    With how BBC wasn't treating the members fairly I think it was pretty easy to see it had nothing to do with the members being "weak" or unskilled and more of BBC just playing favorites (especially considering how all of the members got their own solos lol) but with how much stronger Loosembles debut was than OEC's (imo) I'm glad I was indeed correct! 😁😁😁😁

    I actually find the camera movements in their “sensitive” MV quite refreshing and easy on the eyes. You can clearly see their capabilities and visuals properly.
    The typical kpop camera movements can sometimes be too much and annoying. Most of the time, they do this to hide the idols lack of dancing skills and stage presence. Which is misleading for the viewers because when you see them live in concerts, they always end up looking flat and boring without the dynamic camera movements. E.g. Blackpink

  • @CoachAndrewV
    @CoachAndrewV 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +24

    I too, was a little worried about what this group of 5 would be able to pull off. But I was pleasantly surprised to hear their vocals in Sensitive. We have never really had the opportunity to all 5 of these members push their vocal limits before... BBC left that to the same handful of members to do all the high notes. I almost got teary eyed listening to Hyunjin, Yoejin and Hyeju sing the high notes of the song. And just to hear both Vivi and Gowon with multiple lines made me so happy. The song, overall is a great way to debut. It's not amazing but it is good, which leaves room for the 1st comeback to be just as good or better... It's always disappointing to me when groups debut with AMAZING songs but then never hit that level again with any of their comebacks.
    When it comes to the US ceremony/concerts, I wasn't really expecting much since they were just debuting and would only have a small amount of new content to perform... Yes, they should have chosen smaller venues as I am sure they would have been more affordable to rent. Also, I think it would have been a better idea to debut, promote the song on music shows in Korea for a few weeks before they went on tour. It is going to be a bit strange for them to start promoting their Debut song an entire month after it was already released. They wont be hitting any big rankings with promoting so late... and if they gain any new fans, all album sales will be too late to effect any of the charts.
    Overall, I am content with their re-debut and I am excited to see what they are going to do in the future!

    IZ*ONE was a big group that was able to have each member shine, so I had those expectations for LOONA as well. I'm happy to see that CTDENM seems to have a good handle on the concept they want for Loossemble and will support them and hopefully continue to give them good music and plenty of opportunities. By the way, they already said they would promote in Korea after their US tour. And the venues were probably the best they could get on short notice, but yeah, the tour WAS a bit messy planning-wise

      @@Givememynameback It's a good thing. ODD Eye Circle have always been the most popular subunit, it was no surprise they were going to sell. Loossemble outselling them was unexpected but it means orbits are genuine and are here for OT12 LOONA.
      Personally, I'm more concerned that the OP's comment suggests Loossemble can't compete with OEC without Yves and Chuu. I think they're doing fine; HyunJin's high note in Sensitive sounded miles better than any of HeeJin's and even some of Chuu's less enthusiastic belts. This will be a chance for them to prove that they were always more capable than what BBC's promotions have led people to think.

    • @Givememynameback
      @Givememynameback 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MoonfallMidnight I do respect your POV and can understand rooting a little bit more for what some may have considered the "underdogs" but making these "who did it best" comparisons can be a bit of a slippery slope. They start off innocent enough but the more opinions that come out the more aggressive people get which eventually lead to outright fan wars. The girls already had to split up so I'd just hate to see the fandom split up too. That's why I wish we could celebrate each group's (or soloist) achievements without the need to evaluate them against the others.
      As far as the OP's intention I didn't read it that way. Considering they said they would've been happier with Yves or Chuu going to 'either' group I took it as just another fan wanting more of the members to have wound up together in one of the 2 group combinations we got but I suppose you could also be right. Only they can really clarify that.
