    Great video. I just learned about wait for 10 mins for bubble to come out...after I thought my inficon leak detector is acting up. Thank you for explaining and sharing, sir. Happy HVACing !

    Very good tip on waiting 15 to 20 minutes after soap bubbles.... just need a little patience sometimes..I purchased just one of those Testo 316-3s... can’t wait to put it to the test

    I agree about the not applying soap before using a leak detector, I would get nervous of soap get into my H-10 Pro or Inficon Sensor

    You seem to really like that Testo leak detector. Is there any Freon flavor it doesn't do very good at?

      Not that I've met, the thing is badass!

      Just weighting this, Inficon D-Tek and Bacharach H10 Pro. Can't decide yet.

      @@JuanTodoli i have the h10pro, fieldpiece heated diode, and TIFF ZX, the h10 is great, but big and takes a while to warm up, sensor is expensive to. I had the inficon, it did good, but it couldn't pick up small 410a leaks. That's how i got the h10, the other tech found the leak in 2 minutes after i have looked for a hour. The fieldpiece ??? Not sure i like it yet. A lot of false alarms. Inficon has a new detector that was to be released this month but hasn't yet. It's bigger money but should be a lot better than the current detek select.

    4:28 - What method do you use for removing BigBlu leak reactant?

    Guilty as charged. Mostly work on small reach ins, but thinking back on boxes I've passed an Inficon over, realize I've done with the both fans running.
    Also not allowing enough time for tiny bubbles.
    Thanks.

    More often than not I find leaks at the flares on txv, have you ever used a ultra sonic leak detector?

    • @HVACKnowItAll
      @HVACKnowItAll  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      no, I haven't..what is it?

      it picks up any kind of gas leaks,even if in a vacuum, I use the accutrak,helps pick up the leaks that other detectors cant

    Heres a good tip if you have 30 psi. Blast it with 500 psi of nitrogen then your just cheating. Haha. Probably not EPA approved though

      Yes that works really well. I don't need to worry about the EPA, the Ministry of Environment is even more strict up in Canada though lol.
