- The highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 "Dark Mocha" finally landed in Canada, and The Closet Inc. is raffling off their pairs through a SMS phone raffle. Reminiscent of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High, these feature a similar colour palette, but with the "Black Toe" AJ1 colour blocking!

Had to pick these up for resell so I may be a bit biased, but I much prefer the color blocking of the mochas vs the Travis Scott’s. It just has that classic black toe color blocking with a versatile shade brown that makes it a modern classic in my eyes. 🔥review and photos as always Sean!
not to say you can’t like the mochas but the Travis Scott’s color blocking is more og
Chicago color blocking for travis and blacktoe+storm blue(heel part) color blocking on the mochas.. i think the travis color blocking is better and more og..

I wasn't sure about the ankle leather being Sail instead of Black, but the more pictures and videos I see of these, I'm starting to think they made the right decision. Creates a very nice tonal look for the shoe, and I also think it wouldn't have stood out as much with a Black collar. Good stuff!

I think the quality varies between pairs. I got mine and the quality was ok. The suede where the wings logo is feels great but the suede at the bottom feels ok. The leather is softer than my mids and lows but barely. Great video 👍 love the photos

These for sure look really nice regardless of quality, I also think that the black leather with the sail gives this shoe a different look to the Travs.

unfortunately, its North America release only on Oct 31st for the Dark Mocha.
Korea will get it on Nov 13 whilst the rest of Asia like Taiwan & Singapore hangs in the lingo as we do not have a solid drop date as of yet.
we only got the Midnight Navy Tokyo Co on 31st and it was just restock yesterday Nov 10 (GMT +8)
Still waiting for DTLR to say backdoored on the mochas so I can finally make the decision before xmas comes 😭

Had to bite the bullet and pay resell for my pair. SNKRS app doesn’t like me anymore, and not many stores in my area had stock.
They were meant to release in the EU on Halloween just like everyone else but it has been delayed and we thought we were getting them this month but it looks like they will be dropping next month (19th December). These are clean I don't have the Travis Scott ones, so if I get a W on these Mochas, I will be happy.

Copped these for retail just like the Travis Scotts. Having both and not paying resale for either, I think the Travis Scotts are better. The Travis's are better quality and there's more little details that make it stand out from GR Jordan 1s. The Mochas are dope too though and I'll be wearing them more often with the same fits. The Mochas will help keep my Travis's last a bit longer lol.

Agreed on the quality. I was expecting something similar to the OG Sail or SBB with these. Disappointing that JB continues to use their streamlined faux pleather, even on the more highly coveted colorways.

Taking away all the hype (if that's even possible), this colourway of the AJ1 is mediocre at best. IMHO non of the colours here pops, and the the mixture of the black and brown is kinda old fashion.
