I don’t think you’ve picked up on it, but cars with the “D” symbol are more suitable for Demos than Races. You can also repair cars at the track, but I think it costs more than doing it at home. Push Off Derbies work like this: 1 point for a kill, but you get two if you push them off without killing them. You CAN still win if you’re eliminated

this was my favorite game on my ps2, the multyplayer was AWESOME, with the vs mode with chicken bombs to trow at your enemy XD
I've never heard of this game but it looks amazing. Its like Flatout 1 but with way more stuff between races
