This is excellent advice for atheists too, and is actually the foundation of cognitive-behavioral therapy, the best therapy model (proven by the research) to deal with the neuroses, so thinks like depression and anxiety. It’s all about optimizing everything in your control, reversing negative thought patterns, and letting go of the things out of your control. Hilariously prescient of God to predict that model thousands of years before we even really had a formal field of psychology in practice lol, all glory to the King!
I have anxiety about my family and suffer from social anxiety. My financial situation is I am on a fixed income, and I am for the first time in forever short on my rent for this month. Future anxiety regarding my two younger children. Last night I began having really bad chest pains. Father Yahuah please help me and my situation. I need you right now. HalleluYAH
Anxiety is definitely a struggle of mine. However, it is largely due to physical conditions that cause depression. By God's grace I finally have a diagnosis and a protocol to follow with help from a functional doctor. But waiting each day on the Lord while enduring the hopelessness is really hard and scary. Only the Word of God keeps me grounded and sane. It literally saves me during panic attacks.

This video spoke to my spirit. I just got into an argument with siblings over my mom’s care due to her cognitively declining and decisions that need to be made. I’ve been suffering with chronic anxiety on and off for 6 years, and most of what’s been mentioned in this video, I’ve tried, and no medical professional can figure out my anxiety problems, all medical tests I’ve had all come back positive, every single time, that is, my heart, my blood, and I’ve even had my brain tested, so I recently what to my pastor and said all I’m left with now is, this has got to be demonic attacks 🤷🏻, cos they can’t find anything else, and no matter what calming methods I try, my anxiety does whatever it wants……., unless of course, I’ve been completely misdiagnosed

Your videos are always on point. You break everything down so I can understand things from a biblical perspective. Really appreciate these videos. So helpful to have another point of view to help me apply the Word to my life. God knows I can't just think of myself. I feel like it's wrong if I pray for only me. I have to pray on behalf of others. To me that's more important than myself. I'm always thinking about after here. I can't rest in Christ if those I love and pray for are in need of Christ's redemption. They have to know Christ so they don't suffer forever. That's all I think about. It consumes my thoughts daily. My life isn't just about me. I can't find peace until I know they are redeemed.
This video is so timely and very much appreciated. The Holy Spirit has recently convicted me about fear, worry, and anxiety. From early childhood to early adulthood, I endured abuse from my alcoholic and drug addicted father (please pray for him), and fear and anxiety helped me survive. Now that I'm many years removed from that, it's time to let go of the fear/anxiety. I don't have to just survive anymore, but to thrive in my walk with Jesus. It reminds me of the chapter where Peter set his eyes on Jesus while in the boat amidst the storm and when he did he was able to walk on water but as soon as he started to worry looking at the waves he started to drown but even then he cried out to Jesus for help and Jesus our savior He held out his hand and held Peter. Matthew 14:31 "He said to Peter, ‘You should trust me more than you do. Why did you not believe that I could help you?’ Jesus words couldn't be anymore clearer. absolutely! stressing bc i dont know if ill be able to afford to pay my rent tomorrow, God has provided for me so i know i dont have a reason to worry...but still!!! worry bothers me. He has never failed but still i am afraid..i know i shouldnt be. I need His help out of this financial rut im in because of helping others in need.
Hey Allen, what advice do you have for someone whose anxiety stems from a phobia, not something external? Prayer usually helps in the moment. But long-term it doesn't go away.
I lost my husband 3 years ago, 6 weeks later I had a major illness that put me in a wheelchair. I was taking care of my mother who had dementia and had to place her in a care facility, since I was crippled. She died 15 months after my husband. I have no family nearby. The money has been cut since my husband’s death, but the Lord has provided for me to stay in my home. I do have concerns going forward about having money to maintain the home and whether or not my health will worsen. I need to study these Scriptures often.

A secular friend of mine once said that the fact that so much of what we worry about never happens is just PROOF THAT WORRYING WORKS! 16:57 She is a nut. I have had worry and stress for decades!! I pray constantly to take it away from me. My husband and my son in law enforcement, my son now adult has special needs, salvation for my daughter and grandchildren’s. My youngest granddaughter has a lot of medical issues and has already had two surgeries and is her father died suddenly. I have had several eye issues and I’m stressed I could loose my vision in the future. Yet, I know this is a temporary issues in this word and I NEED to trust God completely and not have these stresses and worries. I hold on to scripture but I need them to be cemented oh my heart. 🙏🏽

It reflects God’s consistent message of encouragement and reassurance, emphasizing His presence, power, and sovereignty over all circumstances. For instance:
• In Isaiah 41:10, God says, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”
• In Joshua 1:9, God tells Joshua, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
This command is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and the peace He offers to His people in the midst of uncertainty or fear.

I have had worry and stress for decades!! I pray constantly to take it away from me. My husband and my son in law enforcement, my son now adult has special needs, salvation for my daughter and grandchildren’s. My youngest granddaughter has a lot of medical issues and has already had two surgeries and is her father died suddenly. I have had several eye issues and I’m stressed I could loose my vision in the future. Yet, I know this is a temporary issues in this word and I NEED to trust God completely and not have these stresses and worries. I hold on to scripture but I need them to be cemented oh my heart. 🙏🏽
