The first time I listened to this, I was confused by the art. “It couldn’t match this song” is what I was thinking. But the more I watched the art, I was looking as if i was the one tangled in the chains and realized I was wrong. In fact, it is a beautiful description of the word “paralyze”. If the person were to move, the slightest movement would alert one of the chains. Sure, when they are floating still, the chains appear loose. But the second they move, the chains would constrict. It reminds me also of the mental definition of paralyzed. Where you are frozen, because every situation around you shows no way of escaping and will ultimately keep you constricted. All things aside, this is a beautiful song. It is one of my favorites to this day. 🎶🎶🦋🥰
This song gives me very much Light Yagami vibes. Especially "will i make it out alive" and "welcome to the twisted circus in my mind". Also I just feel like the tune fits him lol
