I wonder if I spent some great time in Mama Cass‘ House, in my last live but then 1967 something happened to me! But whatever happened, it must have been after the monteray Pop festival, at least that’s how it feels. I spend a lot of time on You Tube just to travel back in time.

The Mamas And Papas was a huge group back in the 60's. I remember when California Dreamin' came out and everyone singing it for years after. It is one of those songs that will be listened to and celebrated for generations to come. For those of us who were alive then experienced the chaotic social times, but we had great music to bring some semblance of order to the chaos. The only group member remaining is Michelle Phillips. She was the youngest. Rest in peace to those members who have passed. 🙏🌹

Some will probably have a problem with it but the Beach Boys version is pretty good. I seen the revised version of the Mamas and Papas. John Phillips, Mackenzie Phillips, Scott Mackenzie and Elaine "Spanky" McFarland. Very good harmonies. Talked to John after the concert, saw Mackenzie and Spanky up close. Pretty cool.
